New stress relief smells incredibly artificial and perfumed. It doesnt leave my skin soft or hydrated at all. The old formula was lightweight, yet still rich and absorbent and smelled wonderful. However, this replacement is horrendous. Come on Aveeno!

So, so disappointed in the change & deceptive as well to not let customers know there has been a change. I loved the lavender & this new prod smells more like cocoa butter (a cheaper scent to use?) & is thicker as well, I'm sure to have to use more. At least you put a diff color cap on. I had bought the body wash too & have taken it back, as it also had the brown cap, which tells me you've made changes in that formula as well & I'm sure not for the better ........ Aveeno can do better :(

To ALL; Hello everyone, just want to say My Baby Sister recommended this body wash and lotion almost 5 years ago now, and it is the best. I've never had such great body wash and lotion. It works wonderful, and it relaxes, soothes, and fully feel fresh for a full 24hrs, it's worth every penny. Thank you AVEENO, job well done!!

It’s what you expect from Aveeno. Soft, smooth, moisturized. But if you can’t do scents or haven’t been around strong scents, this may be too potent for you. I usually do fragrance free or un scented. It’s starts powerful but that’s so it lasts. For me, once the lotion absorbs and dries, I handle the scent better/it’s lighter overall.

I bought the product the other day and I went to use it for the first time and I was confused for a minute thinking I got the wrong one but no they had just changed the formula which had chamomile and ylang-ylang which had a different smell to it that was softer and overall so soothing but this new version of it is not the same and I used to love it growing up but I don’t think I’ll be using it for much longer :(

I’ve loved and used this lotion for about 15 years. Something changed. The fragrance is now soapy and it leaves a greasy feeling. It’s certainly not stress relieving now. I realize prices of materials are going up, but I’d be willing to pay a bit more if it meant I could continue to rely on this product. At least let your customers know that something is different.

I had been buying nothing but Aveeno Stress Relief Moisturizing Body Lotion with Lavender, Chamomile & Ylang-Ylang since it first came out. I loved it. The lotion was creamy, highly moisturizing, smoothing and the scent was subtle and wonderful. I was often complimented on how good I smelled when people got close enough for a whiff of the scent. I actually quit wearing perfume! I would buy the lotion and shower gel to give as gifts to friends and family. Everyone loved it. Then they changed it to this. I decided to try it and big mistake. Not only does the lotion not moisturize - it leaves my skin dry and itchy - but the "new" scent is just awful. It smells like every other cheap, artificial scented "oat" and "lavender" lotion out there. It has a chemical aroma. It’s just bad. I hate what Aveeno did to this previously wonderful product. Unless they bring back the original formulation, this is goodbye to Aveeno. I will no longer be buying any of their products.

I’ve used this product for years and have always loved the smell. I recently bought a new bottle and it has a terrible chemical smell. I had to return it and won’t buy it again until the formula is fixed. Note: current bottle says Made in Canada and new bottle says Made in Korea.

I wrote because I read Jay's review (Redland). He wrote that he loves the smell. Couldn't agree more. A lot of men don't know it but lavender is used in most men's fragrances because men love the smell. I love the flower and I love anything with its scent. Plus the feel and effectiveness of Aveeno moisturizing is worth the money. It goes on without being oily and it works.

I have been using this lotion and body wash since I was in college (2004). I always keep my cabinet stocked with it up to a year supply. I started running low and picked up the “new look” and have noticed the scent has changed. It’s not bad, but it’s not nearly as good as the original scent. Please change it back! Or put a perfume or body mist out there with the original scent, I’d be sure to buy!! If there are any originals left, I would be happy to buy the lot of it!
