The mattress is a bit more stiff than I initially thought it would be. However, I think this is probably due to fact that it's a foam mattress, so there's more support than I had grown accustomed to with my previous, beyond dead mattress that literally had mountains and valleys in it. However, I'm currently pregnant, so I'm a lot more sensitive (and limited in potential sleeping positions) than I normally am. I imagine sleeping on your back with this mattress is close to heaven. My husband and I had no issue with the mattress smelling as some reviews noted, but we also gave it a full 24 hours to expand and come into its own. I did not find it as heavy as some people did, and I managed to set it up on my own. Yes, I took it out of the box and set it up while pregnant. I did not, however, have to drag it up any stairs, and I did notice the next day or so that my back was telling me that I should have asked for help. I only want people to know that it is possible for a petite woman to set-up, even if that's not the best idea. As others have noted, it does take about a week for your body to get used to the new mattress. Once you've adjusted to your whole body actually getting support, though, you should sleep quite well. Over all, we are very pleased with this mattress, and it's hard to beat the price for the quality! We've been recommending it to friends and family, and it's definitely a good option for those wanting a supportive, foam mattress on a budget!

So far we really are enjoying our new bed. I have back problems and was hoping for a miracle and I haven’t had that yet but there has been some improvement with how I feel in the morning. Definitely more well rested in the morning! Overall we are very happy!

As a commercial driver sleep is one of the most important things in my day to day. I got tired of dealing with these little 5 inch foam pads that go in the sleeper berth we call a mattress... that being said I took a chance and had the opportunity to lay on a purple, a ghost bed, and a helix. Ultimately I chose the ghost bed as the purple had that square mesh and felt weird, and the helix didn't feel firm enough. I have had my ghost bed for a month now and never thought I'd be talking about or recommending a mattress, but all bull aside best sleep I've had in years! My only complaint was the pillows had a very strong smell at first but are amazing now! Seriously no matter how I sleep be it side, back, or stomach however i lay down I'm out and don't toss and turn. This product is worth every penny! get one!

The Ghost Mattress Protector Cover - Queen was a very nice mattress protector cover. Oh, would you like to see that mattress protector cover. Wouldn't you like? How much? How much? How much? It was a very interesting mattress protector cover. At some point, it may be appropriate, and maybe I'll be able to share it with you ... ... I haven't seen the mattress protector cover yet. I purposely didn't open the box it came in because I bought it for my new apartment, and I haven’t moved in yet. I haven't opened it. I didn't open it in front of the postal carrier. I said, ‘Would you want me to lay on it?’ She said, ‘Um, you can lay on it later, Weirdo.’ ”

I received my Ghostbed a couple of weeks ago and have been sleeping on it since then. I find it incredibly comfortable, the perfect firmness/softness and for the first time in years I am sleeping/waking up without pain in my hips/back. So far this seems like one of the best purchases of my adult life!

I bought an original Ghostbed (queen size) mattress for myself a few years ago. When it came time to get my daughter a new bed, she told me she loved mine. So, I bought another Ghostbed mattress for her. Recently, my mom asked for help replacing a futon she had with a regular bed. Based on my experiences and those of my daughter, my mom decided to buy a Ghostbed mattress herself (full size). She now has it in the guest room I use when visit her (huge upgrade from the futon she had - yay!). The pillows are great, too!

I am a retired Marine and an airline pilot. My back has endured a lot of punishment and my sleep suffered. I love this bed! I wake without back pain and am able to stay asleep through the night. I did a lot of research before I made a purchase and I’m really happy with my decision.

We got one after agonizing for months about needing a new mattress. I was especially concerned about buying one online. So glad we did. Love it. It is so much more of a right fit cost but it does its job and is a comfortable mattress. It came so quickly, financing was flexible. We liked it so much (and since our rabidly growing son needed a new bed) we got him one too, for his birthday. He says he wishes the pillows were less expensive... What do you expect from a teenager? :D He also says it is a comfortable mattress of awesomeness so you must be doing something right.

I could not be happier with this mattess so far. My wife and I made the switch from traditional pillow top mattress and we both almost instantly felt a difference in how our backs feel in the morning. The ghostbed seems to form to the body in the correct way. We also have the pillows and can't believe I have gone this long without these pillows.

After sleeping on this mattress for a couple of weeks I can honestly say it has made a positive difference in my sleep. The mattress is firm but not hard. If you're looking for a mattress that sleeps like a feather pillow this isn't it. I often get up earlier than my wife and I can now do so without waking her as there is no motion transfer with this mattress. Very happy with the mattress!
