I needed a new mattress and decided to purchase the queen size Ghostbed and I absolutely love it. I am 6 foot tall, weigh about 240 lbs, and am a modified side sleeper. I actually start out sleeping on my back, but within a few minutes I switch to my side with my arm underneath my pillow (I know, it is strange), but I cannot break the habit. Being a larger man, that position with many mattresses is uncomfortable. Even a sleep number mattress did work for me. I was reluctant at first with the Ghostbed, but after a few days I literally hop out of the bed because I received such a good nights sleep. I know mattress preferences vary greatly by each consumer and their specific needs, but for me, this is a great mattress and I higher recommend it. This is a very well made mattress and when bundled with their adjustable base, it is a very good value.

I love it. I don't move around nearly as much as I did on our old spring-loaded mattress. She didn't get the same night-and-day difference experience that I did, but she's warming up to it. The only nit I have is that it is difficult to sit on the edge when I'm putting on my shoes in the morning. It would have been great to have a stiffer border around the outside of the mattress.

My husband and I really wanted to like this mattress as it seemed to have high ratings by so many other people. Unfortunately, there are a number of issues that make it uncomfortable and just plain unsuitable for us. First, it's hot. We live in Texas, and it's summer of course. But we sleep with cotton sheets, a ceiling fan and air conditioning set at 72 degrees and are still hot. Uncomfortably hot. Second, the edges of the mattress are soft. Neither of us likes the "sinking" feeling when trying to sit on the edge of the bed. As the mattress responds to your body heat, you sink in, further adding to the heat factor. Third, for us, the dense foam doesn't have the spring we're used to having. For some people, that might be a plus; not so for us. Fourth, it's not comfortable for us. We've had it almost two months now and haven't had a good night of sleep yet. Finally, the 101-night sleep guarantee is misleading. If you register your bed and try to return it within the 101 nights, it's not easy to return at all. Your customer care representative will try everything they can not to have to take this thing off your hands. I'm not interested in spending more to keep something I don't like already. It's bad enough that the box spring is NOT covered with the sleep guarantee, so we're just stuck eating the cost of the foundation; but we DID expect them to honor their commitment to refund our money if we didn't like it. If you know already that you're a fan of memory foam or even foam mattresses in general, maybe you'll like this mattress. But if you're unsure and think you'll just give it a try because of the guarantee or because of the other reviews, I urge you to proceed with caution. It's not a cheap gamble for your wallet or your back.

I'm 30 years old, average weight, side and stomach sleeper. I have never experienced back pain outside of when I was pregnant. Since the first night I slept on this bed, i have woken up every day with pain. Right now, I have had such terrible upper back pain that I am taking pain killers around the clock. I keep sleeping on it, hoping it will get better, but it keeps getting worse. What was just discomfort in the beginning has become nearly debilitating pain. I've tried jumping on the mattress to soften it, taking care to watch my sleeping posture, trying new sleeping positions, and adding a mattress topper. Nothing has helped. I really wanted to like this mattress, but it is terrible for me. The only positive in my case is the return policy.

First, I want to say that the buying and delivery process was super easy and convenient. Very impressed. Second, I received the pillows first and was in love with them. The pillows alone improved my sleeping experience. They are amazing. So, the mattress itself.. my boyfriend has the Casper bed. I loved it but felt it was a little on the soft side. All the reviews I read from the ghost bed stated it was more firm than the Casper but still soft enough.. I went with that and bought the ghost bed. This is definitely more firm and coming from my last bed it was a suoridingly big difference. I'm not saying I'm hating it but I have woken up for the past week a bit stiff. I hope this improves with time. I don't think it's the fault of the mattress but just personal preference. It's a good looking mattress otherwise

This mattress is well made and is a great option for anyone looking for a pretty firm option. I understood the description to mean that the mattress was on the firmer side of things, but I thought it would have more give than it actually does. I will likely return it for a slightly softer option, but I'll stick with this company.

We purchased this mattress a few weeks back. Great, fast shipping. The mattress arrived first, I feel sorry for the FedEx man, this thing is heavy. We ordered the king. I built a bed frame for It and when that was done we set it up. First night of sleep was awesome so comfortable, we both woke up the next morning and both said we felt like we were sleeping on a cloud. We have not had the mattress that long but we both look forward to going to bed every night because we get to climb in and lay on this mattress. Great bed and well worth the money!!! Highly recommend!

Who knew a mattress protective cover was such a big deal? I didn't until I bought the Ghostbed protector. The ones I've had before weren't even in the same zip code as the Ghostbed cover in regards to quality. They always bunched up and the elastic on the corners were extremely poor quality, which is ridiculous considering how expensive they were. I highly recommend the Ghostbed mattress cover even if you don't have a Ghostbed. It's worth every penny.

Extremely convenient to setup - just unpack it from the shrink wrap. Softness 7/10 - not too soft, not too rigid - I’ve been sleeping very well and find it very comfortable. The only reason I’m docking a star is because my fiancé hasn’t been crazy about it, but please consider that she likes an overly soft bed (in my humble opinion). Great results for me

When you have been deprived of restful, restorative sleep for years from constant pressure pain, you lose all hope. On the very first night I settled in, realized I was actually comfortable, and then relaxed into a deep sleep for a few hours. What a blessing!!
