While all of the online mattress evaluations we read were helpful to us in making our decision to buy the Ghost Bed mattress, my best mattress critic is my back. My back can tell in an instant if the mattress I'm sleeping on will give it the support it needs for a restful night of sleep. Ghost Bed is truly "Best in Class" for back support -- and my back gives it a 5 out of 5 for comfort too. Since we swapped out our old mattress with the Ghost Bed, I'm no longer tossing and turning in an all-night struggle to locate the "sweet spot" I need to get a good night's sleep - the entire Ghost Bed mattress is one gigantic "sweet spot" and offers a consistently comfortable (and firm) sleeping experience -- whether I'm sleeping on my back or on my side. Also, since sleeping on the Ghost Bed mattress for a couple of weeks, I'm no longer experiencing soreness in my lower back. In fact, I don't believe I've been conscious of my lower back lately -- which is how I like it! The Ghost Bed was shipped to us in a compact, easy-to-manage box, which we carried up the stairs and into the bedroom with no difficulty. My husband has also commented on how much he enjoys sleeping on the Ghost Bed mattress too since we bought it, and we were also impressed with the two pillows that were part of our purchase as well; they too are firm, comfortable and supportive. I purchased the queen size GhostBed with the mattress cover and GhostPillows. I got this mattress to replace an old pillow-top, so the difference was so stark it's hard to say it was merely an "improvement". I already knew I wanted more support (the GhostBed has a nice moderate firmness) and movement isolation (I can now get in and out of bed without shaking my girlfriend awake). The new mattress is supported by the old box spring, which I think takes away some of the GhostBed's support and stability. I'll probably try it on a platform at some point, and see how things improve. For now, however, the GhostBed is providing a much-improved sleep. And the GhostPillows are incredibly comfortable and supportive, though with a distinct mild chemical odor. That doesn't really bother me though, and should dissipate with time. Other mail-order mattresses I had considered included the Casper (tried in-store) and Purple, but after a lot of research I went with GhostBed and I'm pleased with the product(s).

I am a back sleeper and a snorer. My wife is a side sleeper. We tried three other mattress prior to buying our GhostBed. We simply could not find the firmness and support that we really wanted. Not only is our GhostBed exactly the firmness that we were looking for, but it was delivered incredibly fast after ordering compared to other providers.

I have gone through Multiple mattresses over the past few years, I am extremely excite about be able to hang on to one the i like. What happens is you get a mattress you love and then it becomes one you finally hate. I have high hopes for the Ghost bed to remain a bed i love. One down fall to the bed is that it is so comfortable its hard to get me out of it. I would recommed this bed to Edge sleepers like me as the edge does not give out and remains normal as if you were sleeping anywhere on the bed. That to me is the greatest part. My wife and I share our bed to 2 Dobermans and they have become so well rested that they no longer use their dog bed for naps but instead run to the bedroom to sleep on the ghost bed.

I've received two emails already asking for a review. Although I think it is a little too early to ask for considering we have only almost had the mattress for one month, here it goes. Within the first couple weeks of sleeping on the mattress, I hated it. I tossed and turned about twice as much as I used to on our old mattress. My husband hated how hot it made him feel, but we both wanted to give it more of a try. With our purchase came a few free Ghost brand pillows. I have always loved my pillow, which was a latex one with a bounce and a tendency to never to go flat, but I thought switching pillows might help. I have no idea why, but it actually helped me very much. I have slept much harder and longer through the night and I haven't had to use the pillow I had to put between my legs to help my spine align. I even feel comfortable sleeping on my stomach which was never comfortable before because it usually squished my chest. So far, my opinion of this bed has gone from a one star (if I would have been asked for a review within the first week) to a three star (since it has only been recently that sleep has gotten much better since switching pillows). My husband still feels indifferent to it because he is a hot natured man, and the bed seems like it hasn't solved that problem. I hope in another few weeks our opinions might change. One of the main reasons we decided on this bed was the 101 night sleep trial. We intend to take advantage of that offer if we feel the need to do so. But so far, it is better than our old mattress but not as great as I hoped it would be.

I waited weeks to get a foundation, mattress and mattress cover. All three items shipped separately. The foundation is missing one piece and for what you pay everything should be available ASAP. I am emailing back and forth trying to resolve this issue. I can’t understand why a company needs you to send them information when they ship the product. I wish I had a video or photo to upload but my foundation is still miss a part so it’s sitting, Just wIting.

My mattress was shipped quickly and was super easy to unpack. It was a little too stiff for my liking for the first couple of days (I like to sleep on my side, and I occasionally woke up with my arm asleep), but it broke in relatively quickly and now it's great!

I came from a 10+ yr memory foam mattress that had lost its shape and GhostBed technology appears to be much improved over older foam mattresses. First thing I noticed is that I didn't sink in slowly. The mattress gives but has support. Secondly, it wasn't too firm like our first Tuft & Needle, which felt like a board. GhostBed seems to strike the right balance for me between supportive and soft. It also sleeps cooler than my older memory foam and has more support out to the edge which makes the mattress seem bigger and provides a better ledge to sit on. I've also become a huge fan of the pillows that were a promotional inclusion with the mattress. Best pillows I've owned. Many of the same positives as the mattress. I'm 160lbs and a back/side sleeper for reference. Thanks GhostBed!

I originally tried out a Leesa mattress but started to develop back pain from the softer support. I decided to give Ghostbed a shot because I had heard good things and that they had a firmer level of support. I'm so glad I made the switch because I've felt much more supported and comfortable than with the Leesa. Recommended if you want a firm, but comfortable mattress.

Love! Order was incredibly easy and, just as promised on the website, I was contacted with shipping information/order tracking within the specified time frame. Since they are made and shipped within the United States, I placed my order on a Sunday evening and it was at my front door around noon time on Wednesday! The packaging was impressive as well; the mattress came in a large box, wrapped in quite a bit of plastic wrap (necessary to keep it rolled for packaging I'm sure), and then in a vacuum sealed plastic wrap. Once the wrap was removed, the mattress had assumed it's full shape within minutes- so make sure that you read the directions carefully and unwrap it close to where you intend to use it, it is a heavy mattress! Now finally on to the comfort of the mattress itself- amazing! I have some back issues and within 1-2 weeks of sleeping on my new ghost bed mattress I was no longer waking up with aches and pains. It seems to slowly conform/accept your weight without being overly soft/malleable or overly firm. We have had our mattress for close to 6 weeks and so far nothing but good things to say, I rave about it to all of my friends! The ghost pillows are extremely high quality pillows as well!
