The mattress is difficult to grade. It's probably amazing for the average person, but I have an injured lower back and I need several inches of relatively soft on top with firm underneath. This bed doesn't have enough soft for my back. I'm going to have to return it.

I found Ghost Bed through a Facebook ad after having done research one Casper, Leesa, and Purple mattresses. The price, warranty, and slew trial seemed the best with Ghost Bed and the reviews were awesome. We were amazed by how quickly the bed arrived and how soon it was ready to sleep on. The bed has seem to get better with each night and the Ghost pillows... well, they should be required with purchase because they've changed the way I sleep! Best purchase ever!

We had a nine-plus year old memory foam mattress which was very hot and hard to move about on. After searching on-line reviews, reading Consumer Reports, and knowing my husband wanted a very firm bed we decided on Ghostbed. I ordered on Tuesday evening and it arrived Thursday morning, so quickly I was amazed. We have been sleeping on it for two weeks and it is everything we hoped for, comfortable for both of us, cool, and easy to move around on. My husband says it is nice to have a bed we can sleep on instead of sleep in. The price was good and we also got two free pillows. We are very satisfied.

I'm a big guy and it is hard to find a good comfortable firm mattress that doesn't feel like concrete...I travel for work and work long hours and this mattress is awesome firm but soft enough to contour to your body...I sleep like a baby and feel so rested..I'll be buying a king-size for home before long...

My wife and I finally decided to replace our old spring mattress after we had to get rid of our boxspring when it wouldn't fit around a tight corner in a stairwell. Faced with the prospect of purchasing a new style of bed frame just for our old mattress that wasn't comfortable even after many mattress toppers and quilted mattress pads, we decided to make the plunge and invest in a mattress we didn't hate. After polling a number of friends who have purchased beds online, we figured out the things people didn't like and what to avoid. Researching different mattress reviews, we decided on the ghostbed because of cool sleeping, a firmer feel that you wouldn't sink into, and a fair amount of edge support and depth, despite being a foam mattress. Despite being foam, you really do not sink into the top of this mattress like traditional memory foam. The top layer is both cooling as advertised, and surprisingly supportive and even a bit bouncy. Despite initially finding the top a bit firm for my taste (although perfect in firmness for my wife's taste), as a side sleeper, my days of waking up stiff and with hip pain are gone. My husband and I had a traditional mattress that was about 7 years old. We were waking up feeling worse than we did when we went to bed. That's not how it should be! I went from a really old box spring and mattress to this bed. I love it and I am sleeping much better. I am a stomach sleeper and the firmness is perfect for a stomach sleeper like me. The quality is very good and I have an good mattress protector for it. So happy!

The bed frame is noisier (makes creaking sounds when I move around) and when my husband or I roll over to our sides or back, the other person feels every movement. Sometimes I feel like I almost have to hold on when my husband rotates because I feel I might be jostled out of bed. My back DOES feel good though sleeping on this mattress.
