[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a long-time user of the regular BIC Soleil disposable razors so I was really excited to get a free sample of the Soleil Shine from BzzAgent. I am going on vacation in a couple of weeks so it's time to de-winterize my legs. I will admit that I was skeptical about whether I would notice any real improvements over the regular Soleil razors but now that I've tried the Shine, I'm sold! The Shine has the same colorful, easy-to-grip handles as the original Soleil but with 5 blades, a pivoting head, and an improved moisture strip, the Shine did a fantastic job at exfoliating and revitalizing my winter skin. The pivoting head makes shaving those curvy areas like your ankles and knees so much easier. Best of all, it's been two days since my shave and my legs are still feeling silky smooth. This won't apply to most people but I recently started taking blood thinners so I'm always nervous about nicking myself when shaving . I'm happy to report that the Shine razors gave me a smooth shave with no cuts or nicks. Hooray!

The 5 blades miss nothing, one smooth glide up my leg and nothing is left behind, no need to shave the same spots over and over to get everything. I love the two strips that moisture and help the razor glide so well but I have to say that one of the best parts is the handle, the disposables that I bought in the past had these short and thin handles that were impossible to get a good grip on. The BIC Soleil Shine has a handle that is actually made for adult hands, easy to grip with a rubber backing that keeps it from slipping while in use. This razor is great!

They hold up well against overuse unlike some of the razors we've you'd in the past. One of my daughters used them the first night we got them and still hasn't needed to shave again. The cut is so close and smooth it was like a hot knife through butter. Another one of my daughter normally winds up cutting herself with other razors no matter how slow she goes but with these no cuts! If you want a razor that will keep your legs super smooth for almost a week I would highly recommend these razors. I know my family will for sure use these from now on.

I really like these razors because I feel like I am getting a close shave with every use. My previous razor had all that gel stuff around the razor blades and while that makes it a smoother ride over your skin, I personally do not love that. I like the feeling of a close shave and I do not feel that with the other kind of razor I was using. Sometimes I get a razor burn with these razors but I think it is partially my fault because I am in a hurry and rushing through it most of the time. Overall these are great razors and I always feel like I get a close shave and have smooth, soft legs afterwards.

I assumed adding more blades was just redundant. However after trying this razor, my view has changed. I was able to achieve a smooth, clean shave in one pass. As with any new razor, one should take care the first few times using it, as the blades are sharpest, but after a few uses, and once it was broken-in

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I haven't shaved my legs in about 2 months, needless to say it was about time for hair removal lol so I tried it with shaving gel and also without, so you definitely need a shaving gel it gives a smooth finish, the packaging is very nice and stands out. I'd definitely purchase these shavers. I was pleased with the product and I'd recommend them to others

I am very interested in seeing how this razor works as it is advertising that it has 5 blades and I normally use razors with only 4 blades. The handle looks as though it will be easy to grip as well as hold onto. I am interested to see the closeness of the shave and ease of the product all around.

I thought the razor head was too flat and gave an uncomfortable and inconsistent shave for the legs. Did not attempt bikini area with this razor. Ok for a trip but not for every day use. Will not buy this specific type of razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, the BIC Soleil Shine razor isn't all that and a bag of chips. It's just like any other regular razor and has it's flaws. I do like the pivoting head compared to BIC's regular Soleil (my go-to razor). The five blades I believe cut down on the amount of times that I have to go over an area just to ensure smoothness. I'm pretty sure hair growth doesn't increase within two days. I'd let people know that I used to be able to shave and go for a week without feeling like I have to shave again. Within a matter of two days, I felt as if I hadn't shaved in the first place.

Wish the orange was a bright yellow like the meaning of Soleil (sun) and shine. The pink one is nice. I named my daughter Soleil back in 2008 after the commercial feal the Soleil. Overall I'm happy with it. Love the 10 coupons for $3 off.
