[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The skin on my legs often get dry and irritated when I shave too often. They're also prone to ingrown hairs. So, I tend to stay away from razors with a lot of blades. The BIC Soleil Shine razor has five blades. I was afraid it would irritate my skin. The head of the razor is smaller than other razors that I've used in the past. While it was perhaps easier to maneuver with it being smaller, I was also afraid I'd cut myself more because of the fact there wasn't much surrounding the blades. I liked the handle. It was easy to grip and I felt I had more control with it being larger and shaped. My legs were smooth after shaving, though I did manage to nick myself a couple times. It would have been nice if the lubricating strips surrounding the blades was a little bigger. My legs felt dry even after shaving with a moisturizing shave gel. But, applying body butter after shaving helped. I got several uses out of the razor, as opposed to other disposables where I feel like I have to throw it out after only a few uses. Overall, it's an okay razor. It's not something I'd buy regularly. It's good for an inexpensive disposable and possibly something I would bring along on vacation. It's something I wouldn't feel bad about throwing out when I head back home from traveling.

Great product, I have no complaints. They even lasted a little longer than other razors I have used before.

I have tried other BIC disposable razors before and they didn't work well so I was quite impressed with these. The five blades worked well and I'm glad they didn't cut me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tried a lot of razors, but this one definitely takes the cake! I shave about 2-3 times a week at a minimum. I was already familiar with the Bic brand, but had not tried this product in particular. For starters, the packaging does a great job of displaying the product clearly as you can see it from all angles (admittedly a little difficult to get open as well). If this review isn't enough to persuade you that you should try it, at least take a look at it the next time you are in the store. It might change your mind! The cover on the blades slides off instead of being one of those awkward ones that pop on and off, which I loved. It fits into your hand very nicely and there are plastic grips as well so you are less likely to slip while shaving or drop it while you are covered in shaving cream. I was using a 6-blade razor before, but this 5 blade did an even better job! The head has a great pivot so it is easier to get into the spots that are harder to reach (behind your knees or bikini line). It even did a great job on my underarms with no irritation afterwards. I would say it is good for at least 2-3 uses per razor if you are a heavy shaver such as myself. I would not recommend using one that is even slightly dull AT ALL. Even more so if you have sensitive skin. It will catch you and leave you with unsightly razor burn and nicks. Other than that, I have absolutely no complaints about this razor. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BIC� Soleil Shine? razors come in bright, fun colors, but the razors aren't anything special in my opinion. The five blades and pivoting head are fine, but I honestly felt that these razors are comparable to two blade razors. I didn't notice a smoother, closer shave, but these razors do get the job done. I wouldn't seek these out, but they're not terrible, and I would use them again if I found them on sale. However, there are other brands of razors I prefer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What I would want to know before I get this product, is do the razors really work like they say they do and the answer to that is YES!! I don't have to waste time in the shower shaving the same area 3 or 4 times to make sure I got all the hair.. With the 5 blades, you only need to shave once.. You get a real close shave and don't have to worry about missing hair in the trouble areas, behind the knees and Around the knees!! I will definitely buy BIC Soleil Shine razors when I need to buy razors!!

It shaves very close and never gives me razor burn. I am so excited to continue using it. I even got my family and friends hooked of them. I also love the colors they come in.
