Customer reviews for BIC Soleil Color Collection Women's Razors, 3 Blade, 16 ct. forSmooth Legs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These razors are not the cheap junk that will tear your skin up. But at a great price, these razors are the best I have used in a long time! The only thing I thought was a draw back was that the moisture bar did not last long. I like to use them for 5-6 shaves, but after about 3 the bar that was there was gone. The razors still feels great against your skin, and I had no problem getting the hard places like top of my knees (ekkk ). I think these are my new regular go-to buy!
Will be purchasing!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These razors are awesome! I highly recommend these for all women. The price and the quality are amazing! I've never been disappointed by BIC before and they continue to not disappoint. My legs have never felt smoother! An added bonus is the colorful options they have and the pivoting head!
Close & protective shave
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I give this product 3/5 stars pros- I loved the closeness of the shave. The moisture strip actually working against my skin as soon as the razors have went over the skin was extremely nice. The grip is a good sized for the fingers & easy to hold onto with no slipping. The colors are very vibrant & fun for us girls. A touch of feminism. The pivoting head makes it so easy to shave around & under knee with no problems what so ever. Arm pit area a breeze! Overall the product itself is amazing and very well designed. Cons- The package only comes with two razors. The price is too high for me. As a family of four who all use razors this is way to much for me to spend. The con factor is what made me give this product a three star rating.
smooth shave
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very impressed on how close of a shave I got with the BIC Soleil Shine razor. The razor though is sensitive to the touch so I would suggest not to shave too roughly or hard, because the delicate blades with a light glide do the job completely. I felt the razor made efficient use of my time because I believe that it took less time to shave and achieve the smooth hair-free skin I desire.
Will definitely be switching
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the new BIC Soleil Shine? free from BIC in exchange for my honest review. I am usually skeptical about razors and their claims but this one helds its own. I typically just buy the store brand because, what's the difference anyway. Well, there's a big difference. I feel that these razors shaved closer, the shave lasted longer as well as the blade. The moisturizing pads are not huge but they were sufficient and the blades are sharp and close but not too close. I typical use a razor way longer than I should but with this razor it held up, nearly shaved just as well and did not cut or give me take burn. I shave pretty often and I know that no shave is perfect but you're only as good as your razor. I have been convinced by these and will no longer will be buying store brand razors!
smooth as silk
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received a pack of Bic Soleil Glow razors from BzzAgent as part of a brand promotion. I was excited to try this new product. The pivoting head is new and helps prevent nicks and the updated rubber grip made the razor much more usable and less slippery. The old Bic razors didn't glide around curves very well. I like the conditioning strip. It is great for the first 3-5 uses. but the razor head is quite big which makes it difficult in tight places. And of course, if you like to use a razor for more than 3-5 times, you may not like how quickly the conditioning strip disappears.
Do I or don't I....
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Still not sure how I feel about these razors.. Did they work? Yes. Incredibly smooth legs, but that lasted for about an hour til the world's worst razor burn showed up and reeked havoc on my legs :( In the products defense I have very dry skin all winter, and we just hit spring, so I'm still pretty dry. Will save the other razor to try again this summer..
Great results!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before posting my review I wanted to try out the razor a couple of weeks to see how well it lasted. And I'm glad I did! To begin with I love the vibrant colors of the razors I thought it was fun and eye catching! It has a nice firm handle and is comfortable to grip plus it doesn't slip out of your hands. I found the razor to give me a really smooth result. No little annoying cuts or bumps. I would of course still recommend using moisturizer/lotion after shaving but I did feel like my skin was smooth right after shaving. I consider myself to have pretty sensitive skin and also didn't experience any razor burn. Definitely a good thing! I really have no complaints about this razor and found it lasts quite some time, much longer than any other disposable type razor I've ever used. I would absolutely purchase this item!!
Different!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These razors are definitely different than my usual Bic Soleil Glow razors. The head is much smaller, which scared me at first, because I'm so used to the guiding head that provides a smooth run. The razors are, as usual for Soleil products, very attractive with their bright colors. I noticed that each side of the razor has a lubricating strip, which is very important to me! I used it to shave both my underarms and legs. At first, I felt as though the razor was a little rougher on my skin, but I think that was just because there was no large guiding head. The blades feel super sharp, and got the job done rather quickly! With 5 blades instead of 3 or 4, I didn't need to go over any spots on my legs at all, and my underarms much less than usual. I did get a hint of the pivoting head, especially when shaving my underarms, but I don't think it did much to make the shave better. I had no knicks or cuts, and no razor burn, either. The handle is comfortable, with a no-slip grip like all Soleil razors I have used. These razors get the job done without any injury, but I think I will stick with the Soleil Glow, as I just feel more comfortable with them. I don't think these razors were anything special, but good enough.
Details, Details, Details
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had posted a review earlier, and I discovered some information about the Soleil Shine razors that dramatically changed how I feel about them......These are DISPOSABLE razors! I felt silly that I hadn't realized that, but I'm glad I know now, and I figured I would write this review in case there's anybody else out there that missed that major detail, too! I went to pop the razor cartridge off the handle and swap it out for the other cartridge since I wanted to keep using the pink handle, and it took me 10 minutes of struggling to get the cartridge off before I realized that there isn't a way to switch cartridges....because the entire razor is disposable! In that case, I've got some new opinions First off, I have always strongly disliked disposable razors. When I first started shaving, I only used disposable and I hated it- I always had razor burn, ingrown hairs, and cuts all over my legs. These were the 2 bladed, thin plastic handle kind that were just awful. You know the ones. Anyways, then I discovered that you can get reusable handles and actual interchangeable, real cartridges with a pivot head- and it changed everything! Until I was sent this kit, I hadn't used a disposable razor since, I always just brought a spare reusable razor on trips. In my other review, I explained what I liked and didn't like. What I did like- The brightly colored handles make this razor a snap to find in your shower caddy, the grip is pretty great, and there's 5 blades....so my legs were incredibly smooth! Nice! What I didn't like- Packaging was difficult to open, moisturizing strip didn't do anything, and I was covered in microcuts that stung like mad in the shower after shaving! However, now that I know this is a disposable razor, I can actually completely forgive that last point which was a dealbreaker previously. If I were travelling and lost my razor and didn't want to spend a fortune, nor did I want to get a 2 bladed, awfully performing disposable razor, this razor would absolutely be my first choice. I wouldn't recommend this razor for daily use, which is what I thought it was for, but this is a fantastic choice for on-the go, travelling, or when you can't bring your usual razor. I am very happy that there is now a 5 bladed disposable razor being offered on the market!
