So, when I got the BIC Soleil Shine I tried them right away. It's been a couple of weeks now, so I can say five blades do give a closer shave, but it sill worries that it's too" close and that I'll nick myself. It hasn't happened so far because I slide it slowly onto my skin. It covers more area too

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using my BIC Soleil Shine razors for over a month now, and I'm still impressed by the smooth shave. As I said in my last review, BIC was probably my least favorite of the three major brands of razors, and I had actually just finished using an older variety of Soleil before this new package showed up. The difference in razors is extremely noticeable. BIC Soleil Shine has five flexible blades that hug the body's curves. The five blades seem to make all the difference. It takes almost no effort at all to clear off the hair in just one swipe. And since you're not pressing down or dragging the skin, there are less cuts and nicks, improving the general look of your freshly shaved legs. The razors also have a strip infused with aloe and cocoa butter, conditioning your legs while you shave. I swear that, not only does the BIC Soleil Shine make my legs look better, but the shave has lasted a little longer than it has with other razors! All in all, I'm extremely pleased with BIC Soleil Shine and plan to buy it myself when I need to buy razors next!

The multiple blades were nice to get the stubborn hairs. Especially liked the wide blades for quick shaving. Less stokes and less time spent shaving. My legs were smooth and silky. Great razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor I must say isn't bad. I've never used this brand before so I was a big skeptical but I #gotitfree so why not! It gave me a nice close shave and worked just as well as the Venus one I used to use and I think it's cheaper too!

It's the smoothest shave I've gotten ever and my legs feel super soft and moisturized without lotion! They really got this one right!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I got my kit I was so excited to try these razors. When I opened them up i seen one was an orange yellow color which I did not care for. The pink one was very pretty though. When I actually opened the package that had the razors it smelled funny. It smelled like a place you'd get your nails done. The razors themselves did not smell too bad, but the packaging smell was a little off putting. The razors did surprisingly well, I dry shave so I usually tend to stay away from disposables. These gave me a close shave and didn't cut me once. My legs were soft and I didn't get razor burn. I also think these razors would last awhile. I don't shave very often and the blades are still sharp enough to use again.I think overall this product is worth every dollar. I would absolutely recommend this brand and I'm looking forward to telling people about it.

I think every girl can relate to the frustration of finding those few hairs after you get out of the shower that were skipped over. This razor definitely works to correct that problem. However, after every time of using this razor I also find that it knicks my skin, leaving little dots of blood. I have used other 5 blade razors and didn't have this problem so I feel like it must be a design problem with the blades on the razor. Overall I would say this is a good backup razor, but there are other brands I would purchase instead of this one.

As someone who doesn't always shave her legs regularly, it can take a while for me to get my legs shaved with the single blade razors (which makes me not want to shave, which is also why I may go a little while without shaving my legs and even my underarms, especially during the winter).With the single blade, even shaving every other day, takes forever it seems to shave just one leg! But with the 5 blades, it goes by quickly and the blade is wider in width, and even length for some. But this razor cut my time in half! Where I might have had to go over the same area 2-4 times with a single blade, I only had to go over once, maybe twice at most (unless I wanted to make sure I got everything when Im done shaving my legs). It was easy to grip and hold on to because of the wider handle and even what seems to be an area for your thumb and finger(s) to keep from slipping as well. But, no matter how you hold them, the handle is wide enough to get and keep a good grip but not so wide that it's uncomfortable. I really love these! I will make sure to try to stock up on these the first chance I get! And I love the bright pretty colors! Thank you BIC for the chance to try these!

Having the five blades really makes a difference in a razor and does a close shave leaving your legs looking smooth and shiny! I haven't been getting any cuts and the handle is very comfortable. Would recommend this to all my girl friends!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am terrible about slicing my legs when I shave so I have to be careful which razor I use. My husband is always fussing that disposable razors are very light and I will slice my leg off one day. But with these razors from Bic he is wrong! The handles are one of the heaviest in the disposable category that I have used. It's easy to hold and very comfortable to shave with. The head doesn't move or pivot so I do have to use extra caution when I'm shaving around my ankles or knees but that's with most razors. I was in the shower shaving and I was using my normal razor but I couldn't get my bikini areas smooth as I wanted so I switched to a Bic. I was very surprised to see it by by far surpassed my expectations and did what my usual razor couldn't. I didn't have to go over the area more than once for a smooth shave. Plus the head is a narrower than my other razor so it shaved the sides with ease. I experienced no irritation or razor burn from this razor. I will definitely be buying this razor again. I was very pleased with the way my skin felt after using.
