[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bic Soleil Shine is designed wonderfully, the handle provides good grip, and the pivoting head made shaving those awkward spots super easy! This razor seems like it will last a really long time, the blades are very sharp. I did nick myself a few times, which I never usually do. But it's been 3 days, and my legs are still as smooth as when I first shaved, so it's worth it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the shave this razor gave me, my legs stay fairly smooth for at least 2 days. Usually my shave only lasts about a day with a typical 3-blade razor. At first I was very aware of the 5-blades, they feel a bit sharper and closer to the skin, which is obviously the point but for someone who is used to 3-blade razors, it took a couple minutes to get used to. If you're looking for a close shave, this razor is excellent. However. If you feel like your 3-blade razor works, I know I wouldn't personally be able to justify paying the extra money for a 5-blade one.

Although I had foregone razor and shaving and opted for waxing and threading, I decided to try the soleil shine razors. I believe the 5 blades and the moving head worked wonders. It is possibly the closest and cleanest shave Ive had with any razor EVER. I let a relative try one and she only had great things to say about it as well.

They are easy to use and the moisture strip is wonderful really makes it so if you don't back shaving cream you don't need it. My legs feel soft and stayed that way longer than the generic brand I have been buying! I am sold.... So is my husband!

I use cheap disposable razors (typically the two blade orange ones you can get a whole bag of for $1). I'm not really jazzed by ascetics or style when buying beauty and grooming products. Product preformance: the razor provided a smooth shave and glided against my skin easily. Afterward however, my legs had the awful, familiar sting of a bad shave. I was very surprised that the close shave with multiple blades caused my legs to burn. I used the razor again a separate time shaving but with different shaving cream in case that was the culprit. After the 2nd try my legs didn't burn as much as the first time but it was still an issue. Style: the razor was a nice shape and color. It has a rubbery grip and a wide handle. It is larger than typical disposable razors. Packaging: This is BY FAR my least favorite part of this product. Two small razors were encased in a wasteful amount of plastic that was impossible to open without scissors. When I use a razor, I open the package in my bathroom and I prefer a quick, easy, package. This product did not provide that for me. Value: there are two disposable razors in a package as compared to other products that include many more. After a week of shaving with one razor, it has kept it sharpness and does seem to let as long if not longer than other disposable razors. Overall: would I buy this product if I hadn't received it for free? No. I wasn't impressed with the shave I received from this razor. My cheap razors don't give me razor burn the way this one did and when I buy those razors I get many more in a package that costs a lot less, is easy to open, and is less wasteful. They're nice looking razors, that give a close shave but aren't anything special.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a current user of BIC disposable razors, I was eager to try the new Soleil Shine razor from my Bzz kit and see how it compared to the BIC Soleil Bella razor, which only has four blades. I have thick coarse hair that grows quickly so that I must shave daily, so I need a good razor that will give me a clean shave every time. Electric razors for women do not work for me since my hair is as thick as a man's, so I have always had to use disposable razors to get a clean smooth shave, and the more blades, the better. I have been using the Soleil Shine razor for about two and a half weeks now, and it is just now starting to get dull. I tend to use a razor as long as I can before throwing it out. Most of my other razors start to get rust on the blades after a few weeks, but I am not noticing rust on the Shine razor yet. For the first week, I was able to achieve a smooth, clean shave in one stroke, but now I have to go over my skin a few times to get rid of all the stubble. Five blades make the razor a bit wider than the four-blade razor, so it is a bit more difficult to shave the bikini area because of the width. The handle is comfortable to grip and does not slip easily, but the head is not as flexible as a four-blade razor since it is wider. I do wish the razors were sold in a 4-pack like other BIC razors so I would not have to buy them as often. I like the fact that the moisture strip is not slimy like a lot of other moisture strips. I like my razors to glide over my skin, but I do not like so much moisture that I feel slime on my skin as I shave. Overall, I am pleased with this razor and would recommend it to others. I would just like to buy them in a 4 pack for better value and would like the pivoting head to be a bit more flexible when shaving difficult-to-reach areas like the bikini area and underarm areas.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While this wasn't my favorite razor for my legs due to the small nicks it left on my skin, this has been great for my underarms. I like to use an inexpensive razor for my underarms as my razors tend to dull and build up with deodorant quickly. Being able to use an inexpensive razor that provides a close shave for this area on my body is ideal.

Well I've fallen in love again with BIC� Soleil Shine? razors. The fivery blades provide an extremely close shave so I don't have to shave as often as I used to. So far I like the comfort of the lubricating strip enriched with aloe and cocoa butter. I have found with the other BIC razors that the lubricating strip becomes gooey and sticky after three uses. So far the lubricating strip on the BIC� Soleil Shine? has held its own. The handle is comfortable and I love that you can buy them in pink.
