[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always been kind of jealous of my husband's awesome razors - I think we can all agree that men's razors just tend to be better than those made for women. If Bic Soleil Shine didn't come in pinks and yellows, I could easily have mistaken them for a 'made-for-a-man' razor! I've been using Bic Soleil Glow razors for the last year or so, which are a great 3-blade disposable razor that I've been happy with, but Bic has really stepped up its game with the Shine razors! Five blades, a pivoting head that goes smoothly around all curvy areas, a comfortable and easy to hold handle... It's a great shave. My main issue with disposable razors has always been nicks and razor burn. It seems like there's just something about the typical disposable razor that ends up resulting in cuts, I think partly because I have to go over the same area over and over to make sure it's smooth. With Soleil Shine, I just had to run the razor's five blades over each spot one time (no going back over and over!) and found it got rid of every hair, leaving no stubble and no stray hairs, even in hard-to-reach places. It did a great job on my legs, under-arms and bikini line with no trouble at all, and best of all - no cuts! I love seeing my silky-smooth legs and not feeling embarrassed about cuts or bumps left from a bad razor. I'm really interested to see how long-lasting the Soleil Shine razors are, as my other razors from Bic usually last a long time while still saying sharp. So far, the same is true for Soleil Shine, as the blades still feel like they give as a close a shave now as when I first used it. They're a bit pricier than other disposable razors, but I think the quality is definitely there for the price, especially since they last longer than the cheap ones, and they're much more comfortable to use which I think helps a lot in giving a smooth shave. I'm really impressed with the quality of Bic Soleil Shine and would definitely recommend them to everyone!

I think that they aren't the most comfortable thing to use daily. They do not have much grip and they don't pivot as much as other brands. But they are small enough to take with you while traveling.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bic Soleil Shine is a pretty impressive disposable razor. I have dark hair that grows pretty fast, so I have to shave almost every day during the summer--which is a huge time suck and kind of a drag. Even after multiple uses, I don't have to do a full leg shave every day--I can get away with just a quick touch up. I haven't had problems with nicks or cuts or razor burn, so I'd definitely say that the Soleil Shine is a good choice for a disposable razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that BIC has out done themselves on this razor. It is thick enough to grip well when your hands are all covered in soap/shave gel . It's blades sweep over the skin well and get all the hair. A word of caution though: remember that this is a sharp razor so do not press down too hard. You will cut your skin or get razor burn. Over all the design is pretty but more importantly it is functional. It is bright enough to see even if it gets covered in soap or dropped. The head pivots well giving a close shave even in the dreaded knee pit. I went out and bought me another pack and have been handing out the cupons like candy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Whenever I find a beauty product, that I can use, despite my sensitive skin, then I am a happy camper. BIC Soleil Shine Razors did not give me a break out, while doing a great job, creating a smooth appearance on my legs, even my husband noticed right away. The only downfall to this product is, that BIC tests their products on animals, and I prefer companies in my purchases who are cruelty-free, and only use products that are tested on animals when I can not find products, that fit that category AND not give me a break-out. That is the only reason, I am giving this product a 4/5 star rating. Otherwise it is is perfect.

The Pivoting head creates ultimate comfort while shaving and the color handle helps spice up my shower and can show my personality!!! :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would first like to say I'm not sure my legs have ever been as smooth as the BIC Soleil Shine got them. I think the 5 blades achieve exceptional closeness and smoothness but it may be a little too much for me. I felt like I really had to pay close attention to every curve for fear gliding over one too quickly or with any amount of pressure would surly end in bloodshed. I think the design is very comfortable to hold and keep a good grip to prevent dropping the razor which I hate doing because when you have to retrieve it all of the shaving gel gets rinsed off and ugh, who has time for that! It did feel almost like too close of a shave in some spots on my leg so I think next time I will try a thinking coat of shave gel to see if that solves that issue as I have tried a regular gel and a gel cream. So I was surprised at how smooth they were. And how long it lasted! Would definitely recommend this to any one who wants smooth legs, without a lot of work.

My husband has always had good things to say about BIC products. I think the best part of this razor is the design of the handle, the way it curves and fits my small hands it totally awesome. It makes it sooo easy to get around my knees.
