I didn't feel it provided a close enough shave, and I didn't like the movement of the razor head. The packaging and razor itself is still very attractive, and the handle provides a good grip and is nice as well.

But if you have thick hair like I do, it is an amazing tool to use to accomplish goals and have smoothe, shiny legs for summer!

I always like that the color of the handle of this brand, somehow they just look appealing to me. I am not really impress with this product. I can't tell the difference between the 5 blade and 3 blades during and after i use it. I think the result is the same. The addition of the pivoting head does not make any different to the comfort level of the razor. I like this product, but I do not think I will switch from the original.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'll be honest I haven't used a Bic razor and years and after using the Bic Soleil shine the first time I was extremely happy. The shave was super close and smooth, gentle, I stayed clean shaven and smooth for a day 2 days longer than usual. I couldn't have been more happier. After my second shave I got a close shave my legs are nice and soft and smooth, they stayed smooth just as long as the first time, however I did have some razor burn and irritation in the usual spots around my ankles and my knees. After my third use of the same razor the razor burn with all over and I had little cuts and nicks and scratches. I again got a very close shave my legs were smooth but they were extremely irritated and there was an Cuts & Nicks everywhere, not just around my knees and ankles. So it appears that these Bic Soleil shine razors don't really hold up all that well. I mean this was only the third time I used one razor. I understand they're disposable but that's just a little too disposable for me, especially when you only get 2 per package.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These razors were decent. Not the best and not the worst. The general aesthetic is nice and simple. The handle got quite slippery in the shower when it was wet. Some razors are easier to hold. I like the moisture strips.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wondered if the 5 blades of the BIC Soleil Shine razor that I received to try for free from BIC would really make that much of a difference when it comes to shaving. I was surprised that it actually did make a difference. The shave was a lot closer than I normally get with my usual razor. I was fearful that the additional blades would make it more likely that I would cut myself but the opposite was true. I didn't get any nicks or razor burn. I tried the BIC Soleil Shine razor both with and without shaving cream and it worked well both ways. The handle of the razor was quite comfortable to hold and I particularly liked the thumb grip. It made me feel like I always had a firm grasp on it even when my hands were wet. The cover for the blades was easy to get on and off. I particularly liked the way it slid on and off instead of snapping on and off. And finally, the bright yellow and pink vibrant colors of the razor blade made it fun too. #GotItFree

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been a long time user of the 5 blade replaceable head razors. They all work well, but buying new heads all the time adds up fast. I received a sample of the BIC Soleil Shine razors to try in exchange for my honest review. I was surprised to find that these worked just as well, if not better than my usual brands! Even though I got mine for free, I appreciate that these are less expensive and I don't have to fiddle with replacement heads. The shave was close and comfortable, with little irritation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love the Bic soleil razors. They shave closer than most disposable razors that I have tried. I love the smooth feeling when I am finished. With other razors my skin felt bumpy and itchy at times. I don't have that with soleil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using disposable razors for quite sometime now, and I must say that BIC is usually the one that I go with in the first place. I like the color and the design they have,and the white grip is a nice touch. I have been using a three blade razor by BIC. While that was a nice razor I would have to shave everyday in order to keep that smooth skin! When, BzzAgent sent the Solilell Shine five blade I was pretty excited to try it out. The design was much the same as the three blade, and had the same white grip. I didn't feel like the save itself was so smooth, but the results were great! I found that I didn't have to shave quite as often, because the razor got so close. I didn't notice irritation on my skin. This razor does a good job. I would recommend this to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got to try out Schick Soleil Shine razors with 5 blades. I like that it has 5 blades and it did give me very smooth legs. But it was not as smooth to use. It felt rough on my legs compared to my usual brand. It is cheaper than what I usually buy. But the lubricant strip is pretty worthless. The razor would be better with a wider better lubricant strip. So overall it's just ok. Would be ok for travel and use while traveling and if left behind no big deal.
