The BIC Soleil Shine disposable razors ,that I received as part of a promotion from the brand, didn't just give me a close shave but gave me a close shave without razor burn. I have such sensitive skin that whenever I shave razor burn is a given. I didn't even have to use any shaving cream to get this razor burn free shave! I love that it has five blades that you can actually feel working. I literally could feel them grabbing every single hair so there was no stubble left guaranteeing a close shave. It was very small for my hands and it did leave me feeling smoothly shaven. It felt rough when shaving my legs. I would compare to the generic cheaper brands that come in the bulk packages. I was expecting a little better than that with this disposable razor.

I've never thought of BIC as a high quality product. It was usually just something that did an okay job and would grab if I was on vacation and forgot my razor. But this razor changed my opinion. It has 5 blades! That's awesome! It gives you a close and smooth shave without needing to pass back over areas. I also really liked that it has a cover on the blade so it makes it better for travel and makes the blades last longer. I would definitely recommend!

I have used many disposable razors over the years and this is by far my favorite. First, the shave is so smooth every time and the special moisture strip makes it even better. Second, I have been using the same razor for nearly a month now and it still shaves as well as it did the first time. I definitely recommend the BIC Soliel Shine to anyone interested in purchasing a high quality disposable razor that has a long life and provides and excellent shave!

So, you get a nice close shave with out cutting yourself. I do think that the handle could be a little more flexible. It's rather stiff and makes it a little awkward to use.

Better than a guy's razor

Appearance wise, it is a bright colorful razor that draws you in. The razor definitely removed the hair but I found that it was not very flexible at all, so going over my knees had to be done very carefully, and I still got nicked. This razor is also supposed to have a lubricating comfort strip to help it glide over skin, however, I did not find it very lubricating. When I would hit spots with not as much shaving cream, it was rough and uncomfortable. This razor does work better than a lot of other disposables on the market but does not quite give a smooth and comfortable shave.

When I tried one - I hated it! It did cut as close and the head didn't pivot - so I cut myself. I always do - that is why I buy a specific type. These totally matched my prior brand. I will buy BIC in the future as they tend to run at a better price point than my previous brand.

I received a free, 2 pack from Bic, as a bzzagent. I use disposable razors all the time and I was excited to try these out. After one use, I was impressed. The 5 blades worked well and the design was easy to use. But after 2 uses, the blades were dull and even rusted a bit. I know they are disposable, but I have gotten more life out of a single blade disposable from the hospital. haha! I wouldn't buy these. I would much rather get something that I can at least get a little more use from.

However, I was saddly dissapointed. The design on the razor it's self is terrible. The frame pertrudes away from the blades, making them inset, and not allowing for the closest possible shave. The pivoting head only moves in one direction, and didn't conform to my curves very well.
