[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i think that this product is a good start to the 5 blade razor from bic. The blade looked good, nothing to fancy, plain and simple. i noticed the actual razor head didn't move to much. i normally like when razor heads move and rotate cause it gets a better shave and prevents nicks and cuts. so i took note of that. i waited a couple of days to shave, just so i can have something to shave and to see how well it shaves. The first shave was a little rough. i noticed some burning after i got out of the shower. a couple cuts and some razor burn. It wasn't BAD, but it wasn't good. i decided to try it again because maybe i didn't use enough shaving cream or i just went to fast? So the second time around went smoother. I didn't get any cuts but i did get a little bit of razor burn in the shin part of my leg. other than that the actual shave, where it takes the hair off, was pretty good. It took all the hair off and didn't leave any pricklys. The razor didn't give me that bad of razor burn. i mean, don't get me wrong razor burn sucks, but i have had some pretty bad razor burn, and this was really mild. I would suggest getting a rotating head for the razor. the would prevent the nicks and cuts from happening and maybe the razor burn. maybe the spacing of the actual razors might help with the razor burn. Over all, i would rate this 3 outta 5. Its a good start to a 5 bladed razor, but it could use some improvments.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with this razor! Typically I just grab one of my husband's razors since I don't have to do a lot of upkeep in the shaving dept. I was excited to try this new razor and after figuring out you have to slide the protective cover off the side (it doesn't snap off) I was set to try it out. The handle is a great fit and easy to hold. The head pivots well and I did not nick myself even once. Cheaper razors seem to require more pressure to get a close shave. Not so with the Bic Soleil! The moisture strips leave the skin smooth to the touch, and the five blades make for a quick, clean, painless shave. My underarms feel smooth and the skin is not irritated and sore. Will give the second one to my husband to try out. I think men will love this razor add much as the ladies.

I am 100% pleased with Bic soleil shine disposable razors and I told everyone I know to at least try them once. I know of 5 people that have purchased them and are in love as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my follow-up review after using the Bic Soleil Shine for an additional month. I still absolutely love these razors. I have opened my second one (in the wonderful separate compartment) and purchased a second set for later. The separate compartment on these make its really easy to toss in a travel bag for trips, and just open it when I get there. I love how long the razors last and how smooth the shave is up until the end of their useful life. They last at least twice as long as my old disposable razors, and when they start to wear out, I can tell by the smoothness of the shave and not by increased nicks/razor burn. With my legs being more on the pale side, nicks and razor burn (especially razor burn) stand out way too much. It?s nice not having the random ?oh where did you get that rash?? question when I forgot to change my razor out but still wore shorts or a dress. I really like that you get two different colors in each pack as well, it makes switching to a new one a bit more fun. It also makes it easier to remember when you last changed them out. My old razors were all the same color, so it was hard to remember exactly when I had opened a new one. The rubber grips are also fantastic. I don?t have to worry about washing the soap off my hands before I start shaving, which is a nice time saver. Lastly the 5 flexible blades make a huge difference. I did a comparison shave using my current Bic Soleil Shine on one leg, and a new one of my old disposable razors on the other. The Bic Soleil won hands down! Even while doing multiple passes with the other razor. I was glad I still had one lying around so I could tell just what a big difference there was.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The five blades are nice and make for a close shave... But almost too close. I felt like I had to be extra careful to avoid knivking myself. Venus has spoiled me with theirs, never cut myself. BIC Soleil Shine did have nice ergonomic handle and I like the way they look. Would definitely use again, but not my #1 choice.

I gave out all my coupons but 1! I'll be using it to buy myself a new pack! Worked great on my legs and bikini area too.

I only wish it was a smoother shave. I dont notice the hydration of the added aloe and coco butter. I usually use the Schick Hydro and that one is smoother shaving.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BIC Soleil Shine got the job done...eventually. I like the feel of the handle. It was very comfortable in my hand. The handle was a bright yellow which is a very pleasanr color but really who buys razors these days just because of the cuteness factor? Now onto the actual shave. The first pass was heavenly. I thought wow this could be a great razor and then I kept going. I have sensitive skin and must use a shaving cream so used this razor with gillet hydro shave cream. By no more than the third pass the blade started to feel dull and had lots of build up... I know what you're thinking rinse the blade, I did . I like a nice smooth shave like any other woman, but this razor was too close. After shaving and cleaning up, I dried and hydrated... I had horrible razor rash.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, I loved this product. I have always shaved with cheaper 3 blade razors. These made a huge difference. I have fine hair and go through about a razor a week. These last me a little longer which is really important to a mom on a tight budget. They also stay clean and do not hold build up like some disposable razors. I wish I had known what a difference 5 blades makes vs 3 all these years!
