[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a tad hesitant about this razor at first because often I found that no matter the blade count, I always had to go over areas 3-4 times before they became smooth, and often, I didn't really feel like it was smooth enough. I think that the Soleil Shine razor definitely gives disposable razors a better name! The blades are so efficient that the only time I had to go over an area again was when I didn't go over the curves of my skin correctly (the arm pit, in this instance) but I never had to shave more than once everywhere else. I actually forgot that there was a moisturizing strip, but after feeling my skin following the shave, I definitely remembered. The skin is left soft and hydrated, and I didn't have the dreaded dry patches that I've seen way too often after shaving my skin (this was part of the reason that I started using razors less, in fact). I think that now when I need a razor for some quick hair removal or something to travel with I'll definitely search for BIC Soleil Shine first!

The grip was smooth and was very versatile and comfortable to the touch. The 5 blades amazed me because I've never seen one before. Once I used it, the blades lived up to its name and I fell in love with it! I love how it moves the razor head according to how the surface curves. It's absolutely fantastic for a decent price too!

And I need to shave my legs everyday in order to be stubble free, so having a razor that is not only sharp, but also compatible with the my sensitivity is a big plus for me. The BIC� Soleil Shine? is a disposal razor that i felt had some pros and cons for my specific situation. Pros: Inexpensive yet sturdy Easy to hold (good ergonomic handle) 5 blades offer a very close clean shave Cons: No moisture strip Very sharp blades Irritation if you are a frequent shaver like me All in all I give this razor a 3/5 as I feel a better moisture strip will help cut down on the nicks/cuts and irritation. For someone who doesn't shave everyday I think this would be a wonderful razor but it just wont work for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was elated to find that I would be able to try out the new BIC Soleil Shine for free in exchange for an honest review. Last summer I got hooked on the BIC Soliel Glow, so I assumed this would be similar. Unfortunately, they aren't that close in quality. The Shine isn't a bad razor, but it's not an amazing one, either. It doesn't glide easily across skin without shaving cream, and the shave isn't bad, but not really close. The first time shaving with it I nicked myself 3 times, and whatever lubrication is there doesn't feel like anything much. I didn't really notice the head pivoting, and the five blades is definitely better than two, but that feature didn't put it over the top. It didn't take long for the razor to feel pretty dull, and I stopped using it. This is not a low quality razor, and for the right price I would buy it often as my value razor

The handles are perfectly shaped for a fantastic grip. The biggest perk of these razors is the amazingly close smooth shave! I love that they have so many blades so I don't have to shave areas multiple times. I'm definitely a new BIC customer!
