They have five blades, which I love and never used five blades before but they also have a comfort shield, which helped me to not cut my skin. It's March in Minnesota, which means I haven't shaved all winter and it's time to shave my leg pelts for spring - a task I dread every year. Imagine my horror when I went to shave and found I'm out of shaving gel! Good thing I had the new Soleil Shine razor. Even shaving with some random shower gel, I was done in less than 2 minutes with the closest, smoothest leg-shaving experience of my life. I typically use Bic Soleil disposable razors (the kind with 3 blades), but who knew the extra 2 blades would make such a major difference?! They also have a moisturizing strip on both sides of the blades, which likely helped with my less-than-ideal shaving without shaving cream situation. I will be interested to see how long these last me. Usually I need to use one razor per leg during my Spring Shaving Struggle, and after one leg they're so gunked up with hair they just go straight in the trash. I used one razor on both legs, and afterwards compared the blades to those of the other unused razor in the package - and not only is it not gunked up, I can't even tell which one I used! Never buying any other razor again. Bic Soleil Shine forever. I have always used 3 blades or less and the 5 blades is definitely much easier to use with only having to do one pass instead of two or three. The handle is comfortable to hold in your hand. I will be purchasing this razor from now on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used Gillette Venus razors for about 8 years now. They have always resulted in wonderfully smooth shaves, and they last well beyond their intended usage. They are expensive to buy outright, usually, so I was curious about disposable razors for awhile. My first trial with them was the Bic Soleil Shine. I bought shaving cream and tried out the new razors in the shower. Almost immediately I could feel the sting of small nicks but I tried it on different body parts to see if that changed. I wear glasses so I'm next to blind in the shower but I'm totally used to shaving that way. I shaved my legs, felt a couple nicks near my knees and shins. Drying off after the shower, I realized the extent of damage caused by these innocent looking razors. I had a dozen nicks on my legs and other areas. I was appalled. I let a few days pass by before trying to shave again. This time I tried an old Gillette Venus razor with the same shaving cream (my thinking that it may have been a sensitivity to the new cream) but I had a smooth, injury-free shave. So, I'm totally afraid of the Bic Soleil Shine. I will be giving the two razors to someone else to see if they have issues. Maybe disposable razors are not for me. Either way, the results concluded I'll be sticking with Gillette Venus.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have really enjoyed using the BIC Soleil Shine razors. I love the colors of the razors because they make me happy! I also love the pivoting head of the razor. The pivot helps me shave my toes, around my knees, and down around the base of my legs much easier. I think the five blades help give a closer shave too. This is a simple razor with amazing results.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow have Bic razors come along way! When I got these in the mail I was a little skeptical at first when it was a Bic razor. These are not the 1 blade Bic razors from years ago. The 5 blades gave me a very close and smooth shave in addition to the lubricating strip. No razor burn! The razor was able to pivot around all the curves with ease. I liked the colors and the handle was easy to grip with no slipping. I will be purchasing these again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this razor is really nice. When it first arrived I was 8 months pregnant and not ashamed to admit I hadn't shaved my legs in a while. When I finally did shave it was like heaven. The razor got all the hair and left my legs so smooth. I mean Bic already is a great name in razors but 5 blades um yes please!. I was super impressed when the head was able to go across every curve and get it all. Doing my underarms is a complete breeze. I've been using this razor for quite a while now and definitely will not hesitate to buy more!

I don't usually take the number of blades into consideration, but I think the 5 blades were a big plus; I got such a close shave. The pivoting head allowed me to avoid nicking my knees and ankles, and the handle was comfortable to hold. Shaving my legs took much quicker than normal because I didn't have to go over areas more than once. The one negative" I will add is regarding the moisture strip; I don't think it did anything and I find these unnecessary. I personally always use lotion after shaving anyway so I feel like the moisture strips didn't add to it. Overall I do like it though."

I have tried several different types of razors, including both disposable and cartridge razors. All would leave me with razor burns on my legs. So I was pretty skeptical to try the new Bic Solei razors. I was actually pleasantly surprised by how good they worked. They left my legs very smooth and the best part is NO razor burns anymore. I've already bought 3 more packages so I don't run out.
