[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I waited to write my review until i had used the BIC Soleil Shine a few times because most other razors dull after about two or three uses. But the new BIC Soleil Shine has me jumping for joy five uses so far and still as sharp as the first use. One swipe and the job was done no need to go over the same spot multiple times for a close shave. The pivoting head is also a treat because no shaving nicks or cuts. Im beyond happy with these razors.

The razor was able to catch all of the long hairs without tangling up. I also was able to shave his back in one simple sweep, did not find myself going over the same spot numerous times. The comfort grip on this product is great and makes it really easy to hold. Also, the razor moves with you, not against you which I can really appreciate.

It did a great job of getting a close shave . My bikini area is always an issue in trying to get a close shave The blades are great for those hard to reach spots. However, I did develop major razor burn and discomfort after shaving. Don't know if it was because the blades were new and very sharp. Had a couple of nicks but isn't a big deal. I get those with other razors too. The handle is shaped perfectly to fit in your hand and feels secure especially in the shower.

I love the bright colors of them, the handle has a nice comfortable grip. It is 6pm in the evening and my legs are still so silky smooth! Usually I have some sort of stubble on them by now. So what I'm saying is that these New razors get a SUPER close shave without cutting my skin up! I almost ALWAYS get cuts with brand new razors. Not with these! So great! I'm assuming it's because of the 5 blades and Pivoting head on the razor. I have tried other BIC disposable razors before and they didn't work well so I was quite impressed with these. The five blades worked well and I'm glad they didn't cut me.

The flexible head made it easier to use, as did the blades (5!!). I felt like it left my legs feeling very smooth, no stubble. I would definitely want consumers to know how smooth these razors make your skin feel! Everyone should have he chance to try these!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to like this razor, but I must say that I was sorely disappointed. It scraped, but didn't get the hair. It is cute and girly, but highly impractical. This product may appeal to the young and some older because of the color, but this is truly one of those 'pink' ticket items where they are more expensive than say if you purchased a razor advertised and sold for men. It is ineffective at doing what it's suppose to do. I tried this razor as I would use any razor. I tried it with saving cream, foam, gel, shampoo and conditioner (yes, I do this: no waste in my home), and finally just with water to see how the 'moisturizing strips work). Let me just tell you that it came up lacking on all fronts. I felt skinned alive instead of silky smooth and confident, as the picture on the coupons would have you to believe. Final verdict: Skip due to price, impracticality and lack of usefulness. Keep the one you have been using, ladies or better yet, take a few steps to the men's section of the aisle and pick up the BIC hybrid advanced disposable razor that comes with 6 cartridges. It also have 3 blades, but a much thicker shaver handle and better shave any day. I give one star for color and advertisement.

When I first received the BIC Soleil Shine razors I was very pleased at the way my legs felt after the shade, very soft and smooth...and I was pleased enough with the closeness of the shave though I didn't notice a difference from my Gilette 4 bladed razor. I used the razor for the fifth time last night (underarms) and...razor burn galore! In my experience this comes from a dull blade. But five uses?! I'd never pay this much for a razor with that little life. Sorry to have to report this but the BIC Soleil Shine razors come two to a package (that could hold at least four) and are quite pricy to boot. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always been a fan of the bicycle Soleil razors, but while they did give me a very close shave, I think the extra blade was a little too much for my sensitive skin. I love the colors, the design, and everything about it otherwise!
