Customer reviews for BIC Soleil Color Collection Women's Razors, 3 Blade, 16 ct. forAwesome Razor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that this razor is amazing! The Bic Soleil shine 5 blade does its job so well, that I never worry now about having pesky razor burns or little cutson my legs, underarms, or the other discreet areas on my body that get shaved. The moisture strip makes it easy to navigate softly over my skin As it glides doing its job. The cute colors of the handles make me feel like I'm getting ready for the beach! This goes above and beyond my expectations of any disposable razor on the market, and comparatively speaking, is better than some of the other, more expensive 4 and 5-bladed razors. Bic really impressed me with this one without leaving a single mark on my skin!! Thank you Bic for sending this product free and in return I give my own honest opinion. #Bicsoleilshine #gotitfree
Okay, but sticking with my Schick
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this razor to shave my legs. I used to use Gillette Venus razors, but then switched to Schick HydroSilk after a previous bzzcampaign. The Bic Soleil was okay. It definitely does a much better job of regular disposable razors, but it did not perform anywhere near better than the Schick HydroSilk razors (disposable or re-useable). With the Schick razors, I feel like I can shave without the fear of nicks and cuts. I did not get that feeling at all with the Bic Soleil. I had to go very slowly to make sure I didn't cut myself, and still ended up with a few minor nicks. If given the choice between the Bic Soleil and any other regular disposable, the Bic seems to perform better if you take it slow; but I will choose Schick HydroSilk over the Bic every single time. That has 5 blades as well, but just doesn't scrape and cut at all. I also felt the Bic Soleil's head did not pivot all that much making shaving around ankles and backs of knees very precarious.
Great razors!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first received the email inviting me to this campaign, I have to admit ? I didn?t understand the appeal and importance of having 5 blades. I?d had such a great experience with my previous BIC campaign so I knew these razors would not disappoint. I asked my husband why 5 blades would be so special and he explained to me that with more blades, there?s potential for a much closer shave. My husband, handsome, with a clean-shaven head, shaves everyday, so I definitely trusted his input! I?d shaved the day before my BzzKit came so I allowed myself a few days before I used them. Upon opening them, I immediately liked the colors! The shape is exactly the same as their Soleil Glow razors. The 5 blades were a little intimidating, but I grabbed my shaving cream and got ready to ?de-fuzz? my legs. My first reaction was, ?Wow, this is a close shave!? Without even feeling my legs to check, I could tell that the blades were cutting very close. I got a little nervous because I was afraid that I?d cut myself, which didn?t happen. The head pivots so as the razor glided over my knee and calf area, areas which are not flat, the razor adjusted to accommodate the change in surface. I was amazed at how smooth my legs felt once I was done. And 2 days later, they still are. I am glad that they have the moisture strip, which I am sure helps to prevent the legs from being irritated from such a close shave. A difference that I noticed between the BIC Soleil Glow and the BIC Soleil Shine is that the Shine is missing the comfort shield that the Glow has. I think this would be a great addition to the Shine. Also, in my shower, I have both a Shine and a Glow razor hanging from my shower caddy. While I personally know which is which, there is nothing that differentiates between the 2 as far as branding / labeling. They both simply have ?Bic Soleil? on the handle. Because there are so many in the BIC Soleil line (Glow, Bella, Shine, Twilight etc.), I think this would be smart of BIC to do. For the person that happens to just grab them on a whim, they may forget the type of razor once they run out, and not be able to repurchase. Would I buy these again? Absolutely. I used to use other brands of razors, but ever since my last campaign with BIC, I?ve become brand loyal. The Soleil Shine does not disappoint.
Love this razor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how clean shaved it leaves my legs. Love the colors. Love the ease and sharpness of the blades. Love how soft it makes my legs feel. I will be purchasing these BIC SOLEIL razors instead of my other disposable razors from now on. My daughter used this for her first shave on her legs and was very happy at how easy and smooth it made the process! These are our new razors at our house!
Differences Didn't Stand Out
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For me, the differences in this razor didn't stand out. The pivoting head feature was nice but as a typical BIC Soleil user I didn't feel like there was a lot of difference in this razor vs. the others. I don't think that I would be willing to pay a premium for this razor.
My legs look great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate to shave my legs but when I do I like a blade that will do the trick I like a smooth a polished clean look and when I used Bic Soleil that's exactly what I got the five blade gripped every stubborn hair on my legs as well as my underarm hairs the comfort and feel was great the pretty colors made it fun and easy I love is blade and I will definately be using this blade again. Side note I also used the ones with the scented Handel and they smell so good my daughter enjoys as well as I did .
Great for a short time
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bic Soleil Shine razor is great for the first few uses but the five blades seem to wear out fast. The first use I couldn't believe it was considered a disposable razor but it worked so well! The pivoting head and easy to hold handle are great. After a few uses though it began to tug at hair and cause razor burn. If you are looking for a razor to take on a short beach weekend this it but it won't last much longer.
Top Quality Razor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to test out BIC Soleil Shine razors thanks to a free sample from BIC. I'm so glad I was able to test this product! Though I've shaved for nearly 30 years, I've never really had a clue about razors or how to pick a good one. The handle is wide enough and contoured for a comfortable grip. There is also a nice cap that slides on rather than snaps. The cap is more durable than average and less likely to break or get lost. The best part of the razor is the smooth shave. It really glides for a comfortable shave. More comfortable than any other disposable razor I've used! And finally...the knees. Isn't shaving your knees the worst? Notorious for nicks and almost always upon leaving the shower you see big spots of hair you missed? The five blades really do adjust to the contours of your shape and knees are no exception. I came out of the shower with no random patches of hair on my knees for possibly the first time in my life. I am very pleased with this product and will definitely use it again!
Best Razor!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed my sample of Bic Soleil Shine razors. I love how snooth they left my legs feeling. The strips really keep skin moisturized. I got about 3 uses each before i disposed of them since they are disposable razors. Reall y happy and will be buying more
Bic Soleil
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 5 blade razor, smooth shave, love it. Rubber grip gives you a perfect shave, razor does not slip from your hand like other razors do, very good to prevent a slip and cut (been there). No need for shaving cream, strip with aloe and cocoa butter makes it a smooth and pleasant shave. My legs and under arms love it and so do I ?
