I was a little apprehensive to try the Bic Soleil Shine disposable razor because I have typically stuck with one brand (Gillette Venus) throughout the years for my shaving needs but it's turned out to actually be pretty great. I'll explain below: Pros - super cute, bright colors (pink and yellow) so it won't get lost when I travel - Five blades that are razor sharp (pun intended lol) - Moisture strip with aloe and cocoa butter - Leaves my skin feeling exceptionally smooth - Can reach into some pretty tight/tough to reach spots Cons - While the head does pivot (moves up/down) the rectangular shape doesn't seem to flow well around my knees Overall though I am extremely impressed (especially because it's a disposable) and it can keep up with my normal daily shave routine. I think it deserves at least four out of five stars because it performs well, the price is right, it's got great features that you don't expect in a disposable, and it leaves my skin feeling super soft without having to use shaving cream or something similar. I'm happy I got to try it for free from Bic but it's definitely getting added to my regular shopping list.

I have sensitive skin and I was surprised I didn't get nicked at all from the blades, especially around the knee area where I usually have problems. Especially love how the handle fits perfectly into my hand and is more comfortable to hold than any other razor I've used, and love the pink color! I didn't really notice the pivoting at all, I'm sure it did and that's why I didn't get cut, but it felt pretty stiff in my hand. Overall I think this is a great value for a disposable razor and would definitely purchase myself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before I received my Bic Soleil Shine razors, I assumed it would be like the razors I have purchased in the past, flimsy, not easy to use and continuing to work on the same part of my legs. Yesterday I received my Bic Soleil and I just finished using it and I must say that my legs actually do feel softer compared to other razors and Bic razors I have used in the past. I like the handle and the chunky top part. It feels like it's make to do its job and it does just that. I have used my boyfriends 5 blade razor on the past because 5 blades truly do make a difference but the handle always slipped and I would fear of cutting my leg. With the Bic Soleil I not only have control but the handles center allows me to place my thumb perfectly to get a nice clean stroke. I would like to share with you a before and after of my calf.

I broke out the BIC Soleil Shine razor and it was so easy and fast. I didn't get a single cut or scratch (I almost always cut myself shaving) but the razor still was sharp enough to get my legs silky smooth in a single pass! And these were some hairy legs. The head pivoted just enough to avoid cuts, but didn't flop around like some other brands. The shave was so close that I was able to go a few days without any stubble. Best razor ever!

I love the fact that this razor comes with five blades. These razors are gentle, I haven't cut myself while shaving once while using this razor. I also think that this razor has lasted longer than other razors. I think this would be a great razor to use at home or travel with. I plan to buy these once I finish my free sample. But with these razors, you honestly get the smoothest, softest skin with no cuts and no pain. Soap and shaving creme is completely optional, because my legs were perfectly fine with shaving with just water. My legs came out super soft and hair-free in such a short amount of time. Shaving was completely effortless and I actually enjoyed it. The 5 blades cover a great amount of space and get every single hair! There is also a strip so your legs aren't cut. The result is super-smooth, perfectly hair-less legs every single time. I used the razor for weeks and it also stays very sharp. You can use this razor over and over and still get the same results. For a disposable razor, it is the longest-lasting one I have ever used. This is the best razor, hands down, that I have ever tried. I highly recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor gave a nice clean shave. However unlike the current razor I use this razor requires shaving cream for a really good shave. I would recommend this razor if you shave in the tub. For travel it is not as good as it would require you to also bring shaving cream along. The handle was easy to hold and the razor glided smoothly. The nice thing about this razor is that it has a cap that can be slid back on to protect it when not in use.
