[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me just say that this is the first razor that didn't give me razor burn. Period. I have sensitive, thin skin and this simply didn't nick me. Probably because this razor was wholly and entirely designed not to nick. The razor has 5 blades, which not only spread out the skin to prevent nicking, but the extra blades mean that if one misses a hair, the next one can chop it off. Single pass shave. You don't have to go over and over the same patch of skin and risk irritating you skin even more. Then around the blade you have three major pluses. First, the moisture strip. Every razor has one, but this one has two different materials in the strip. Then, beneath the blades, you have a strip of textured rubber. It picks up those tiny hairs and keeps them from sticking to your skin. Behind the whole thing, the razor head pivots so it can keep perfect contact with the skin. And not overlooked was the handle. Firstly, it is pretty. The plastic is curved and frosted, giving it a shape and feel that perfectly matches the hand. And set into the handle is two pieces of textured rubber to give you a nice strong grip on what you are doing. But does that all work. Well, like I said, only razor with no burn I have any used. But only is the shave better. The shave is faster too. I know shaving can be its own task of the day with cheaper razors, but because legs can be done in one pass and other areas can be taken down almost as quick, I can get ready for whatever I have going on that day so much faster. So all in all, if you want to get ready for some fun in the sun, or a date night, or anything else that involves shaving, this is the razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bic Soleil Shine does just that. It definitely shines! With the 5 blades, it gives a very close shave. I have a pale complexion and am dark haired. Typically after shaving with my normal disposable razor, I can still see dark hair follicles. This razor shaves so close it minimizes this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently, I had (what I thought was) an amazing opportunity to try BIC Soleil Shine for free (thanks BIC!!!!), and have to admit I wasn't too impressed with it. With it's super cute design, I was super excited to try it initially. Each time I used it, I just didn't have that great of an experience. The last time I pulled out the razors, I had resigned myself to the scrapping and razor burn I knew wax imminent. And I wasn't let down. Shave cream, coconut oil, conditioner....nothing works to keep this razor from giving a really rough shave. My legs are now full of ingrown hair, and I'm officially throwing the razors away for good.

I don't know how they get the shave so close but I would love to know that before buying. I used it with just a generic shaving cream and I always thought that the cream was the problem but it was the razor! Because when I used these they left my legs feeling so ridiculously smooth.

My legs feel smoother and I am really like the moisture strip. I have such sensitive skin that I am always hesitant to try new razors (or cream for that matter) but trying Soleil has made me realize it was time to move on. I have always used those cheapy throw away razors because they never seemed to leave rashes. I will no longer be buying those and in fact I already ran tot he store and grabbed a few more packs of Soleil to have as back up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my BIC Soleil Shine to review. I use disposable razors multiple times a week. I have to honestly say that I love it. I like the way the razor feels in my hand, the shave was really close with minimal effort. Normally, the other razors I use I have to make a few passes to get a close shave. With this one, 2 passes and I was hair free. I will be using this from now on instead of the other brand I used to use. Plus they sent me coupons which is a bonus.

Most commonly, I use a razor that only has two blades, which has often left me less silky smooth than I would like. I was never really sure if a more expensive razor could actually make that big of a difference. I could not have been more wrong! As a BzzAgent, I was recently given the opportunity to try an amazing five-blade razor called the BIC Soleil Shine. As soon as I tried it, I realized that the smooth, close shave I had always desired was definitely possible with the help of the right razor! The BIC Soleil Shine comes as a two-pack in cheerful, colorful packaging with one pink and one yellow razor. The razors themselves have thick, rubberized, easy-to-grip handles that feel very secure in your hand and do not feel at risk of slipping. In one pass, the five blades of the razor leave your skin as smooth as silk. This is a huge contrast to the two-blade razor I normally use, which requires me to make several passes in order to achieve an acceptable result. The BIC Soleil Shine's blades are not only flexible but are located on a pivoting head, which really helps to shave around curves and contours without cutting yourself. The razor also contains an aloe and cocoa butter moisture strip that helps the razor glide across your skin with ease. Each use of the BIC Soleil Shine has left my skin silky smooth and nick-free. As a result of the closer shave, my shave seems to last longer, and my self-tanner goes on smoother and more streak-free. After experiencing the difference for myself, I can definitely say that I have been converted from my cheap, two-blade razor to the incredible five blades of the BIC Soleil Shine! Anyone looking to achieve soft, smooth, silky skin and the closest shave of your life should definitely check out the BIC Soleil Shine razor. You will not be able to stop touching your skin!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My only issue with this razor is it's trouble with more, ahem, delicate areas. The blade is just too big to wield in areas like the bikini zone. I had to go over the same area several times. As far as underarms and legs, it did a fine job. I would use another disposable brand for my bikini area.
