[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before receiving the Bic Soleil Shine razor I used a 3 blade disposable razor. I would sometimes skip my knees or lower ankles to avoid the tiny cuts that I seemed so good at getting. I also had to be careful of which way I shaved to avoid razor burn, and it took a few passes to get all the hair. With the Bic Soleil I don?t have to worry anymore! The pivoting head and flexible blades (which actually make a difference, I didn?t think they would) must combine to form awesomeness. It takes me a fraction of the time as my old razor, and no nicks, cuts, or after shower Band-Aids. I don?t have to pay much attention to the direction I?m shaving, which again means less time and no razor burn. The moisture strips left my legs soft and hydrated. I also liked the packaging, each razor has its own compartment so you can open one at a time and leave the other sealed until you are ready to use it. The handle is nice and easy to hold, and the rubber grips are handy to have when dealing with soapy hands. The safety covers also have vent holes over the moisture strips, which allow them to dry out without turning into mush and sticking to the cover. Overall I love this razor, it saves me time, there are no nicks, it?s easy to hold, and it comes in fun colors.

The blades work so well and leave me with a clean, smooth, silky finish which is always appreciated. I love the fun bright colors too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The stigma against disposable razors is a thing of the past. These razors exceeded my expectations, and I am pleased to have experienced this new style of razor from BIC. Something that I may have wanted to know when I first got it is that while the head does pivot, it does not have a 360 degree pivot. While this is not a problem, I personally have gotten used to the ease of a 360 degree razor. However, I was pleased by the fact that although it does not pivot quite as much as I am used to; it gave a remarkably close shave with its five blades, and after I got used to it (it did take a few tries) I was able to adjust it so that I avoided getting cuts and nicks around my ankles. Something to look out for is the blade guard. While simple once I understood how to take it off, at first I was completely perplexed by how one could get it off. What I learned, and what I hope will save others time, is that the guard slides off to the left. It does not unclip from the front, nor does it act as an extra piece meant to provide another means of unpackaging hassle. Once I got past this issue, the razor worked like a charm. I would not recommend dry shaving with this razor, although it has moisture strips. They help the razor glide, but I have found they do not have enough moisture to give a smooth and easy shaving experience. Overall, this is a great razor. It has its quirks, but they are manageable and just take a small amount of time to adjust to. For a disposable razor, the BIC Soleil Shine does not disappoint.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this razor. It gets close to my skin without nicks. It's very smooth. It is also comfortable to hold. I have used this razor exclusively for a couple of months. However, it is not my favorite razor because my legs itch as the hair comes back in. It's almost like the blades are a little too sharp. I personally like the BIC Soleil Glow much better.

However I am used to using Venus with olay and this product just seemed to be rough and not as smooth on my skin as Venus. I wouldn't buy these because I prefer using something with a larger moisture area.

I gave the razor a 2nd try and have been using it ever since. It gives a very smooth close shave. Especially on hard to shave areas like the back of knees. I have definitely recommended this razor to friends and family

The five blades give you a close shave and works just as well as expensive blades I've used before. They have easy to grip handle and a good shape to get in harder areas. The one draw back I found was that with the more expensive five blade razors they move and pivot alot better this one is pretty stationary which isn't that big of a deal but is still something to note when purchasing. All in all I love them and if I had to get some disposable razors I would definitely go for these.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have long, thick dark hair EVERYWHERE. It grows fast too. This razor did a great job of leaving me hair free in one pass. I even made it an extra day before needing to shave again. My only complaint is I think that the conditioning strip could be better. I don't feel that it was very effective.
