[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was curious to try this razor because I am used to using a BIC razor with only 3 blades (BIC Soleil Twilight). I am a long-time user of the Twilight razor & they generally get the job and are a great bargain. I could definitely tell the difference between the five blade and three blade razors. The five blade did provide a closer shave. I have dark hair so a close shave means less visible stubble. The Shine razor is a little bit sturdier/thicker than the Twilight. I love the bright pretty colors of both razors. I did note that the Shine comes in a two-pack and is virtually the same price as the Twilight which comes in a four-pack. If you don't mind spending the extra money, then the Shine is definitely the way to go and is a noticeably better razor.

The first time I shaved with the new BIC Soleil Shine razor, it went through about a months worth of growth like there was nothing there! My legs were so smooth and soft, I couldn't believe it! I have never gotten such great results from a women's" razor. I often used "men's" razors because of their blade counts and the results I got. NO more! This will now be my go to razor!"

After the winter where shaving is less likely to be done on a regular basis, I really appreciated the five blades on this razor! It seems to do a better job of removing hair and leaving a smooth feel than the other lower quality disposables.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I heard I was receiving a new disposable razor to try, I was interested to see what quality it had, I was worried about the number of blades and the closeness of the shave, but it had been years since I used a disposable razor and was willing to give them a new shot! The packaging is not able to be opened without a knife, which is excellent if you have young kids and don't want them getting into your razors but somewhat inconvenient if not. However, the package appears to look like it would be easy to open so I struggled for 10 minutes before I realized there wasn't an easy-open design. They are lightweight and the ergonomic shape is nice. The metal shield on the edges of the blade is somewhat more raised than I expected, which may effect the ability of the razor to give a comfortable shave. The head may pivot, but it's not comparable to my current razor and didn't make much of a difference during my shave. That being said, I did get a close shave with this razor because of its five blades, but the angle of the blades caused pulling of the hairs and irritated my skin. However, although my skin was a little sensitive immediately after my shave, I had no redness or razor bumps the day afterward. This is a decent razor when it comes to throw-aways. It is nice to have a disposable razor that comes with five blades, and if I'm ever in a bind and need to go buy one I will definitely consider getting another BIC Soleil Shine. Nevertheless, I will still stick with my more expensive refillable mens" razor for everyday use. It may be more expensive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything about this product is great - the amount of blades is perfect for getting a great shave in one swipe, the grip is comfortable, the head is responsive to the contours of your legs or arms or bikini line, and the moisture strip, although it doesn't last too long, is a nice feature (which I deem unnecessary anyway). I was a little nervous about bringing it near my bikini line, but the design makes it comfortable to use even when you can't necessarily see what you're doing. It's non-irritating and I haven't had a problem finding patches I've missed or hair that hasn't been shaved down all the way. I love it!

I'm not exactly sure the life expectancy of a disposable shaver but I do know I've gotten more use out of other brands . This razor is fantastic on the first shave. It hugs very close to the skin . Gives you silly smooth, stuble free legs and whtevet else you shave. I was disappointed to not enjoy the same beautiful shave the 2nd time I used the razor. If these are just meant for a one time gig then they are great !

I have found some work better than others. The Bic Soleil is one of the best at making my legs feel smooth and stay smooth for the longest time. I highly recommend this razor for busy women.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these razors! I am not usually a fan of disposable razors, but these far exceeded my expectations. I shaved with them for the first time a week ago, and I typically have to shave every week, but I have yet to need to shave again. My legs were the smoothest that they had ever been after I shaved, and they are still smooth, especially considering that it has been a week since I shaved. This razor easily glides through tricky areas (like the knees) and it effortlessly and gently shaved my bikini area without leaving any irritation. Sometimes with razors where you replace the blades the razor head falls off when shaving around the bikini area, so I love that this razor did not do that. I have already given away all the coupons that came with the razors, and I only wished that I had saved a couple for myself!

I have previously heard of this brand and have tried other razors from this brand but not this particular type. I really like the packaging of these razors, it's very bright and colorful and eye catching. It looks a lot different then what BIC currently offers, but in a good way! I used the razors in the shower with soap like I normally do. They were easy to use and ran smoothly over my legs without nicks or cuts. They fit into the contours of my legs easily and I felt like the amount of blades made it very easy to shave even the hard to reach places. Using these razors gave me a very close shave and left my legs smooth and did not irritate my skin. I felt like they did a much better job then other razors currently on the market. I will definitely be purchasing these BIC razors again and I highly recommend them!

It is very cute, the handle is nice, sleek and easy to hold & the fact that has 5 blades does give you a close shave...However it doesn't glide as smoothly as I would like. Make sure to use a very good moisturizer because if your skin is anything like mine then it might start to get irritated. By the end of my shaving session I found myself having to go over certain areas more than once. I also used a moisturizing shaving cream and still found that my legs are very irritated afterwards. Not recommended especially if your skin is sensitive.
