[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to like this razor, but I must say that I was sorely disappointed. It scraped, but didn't get the hair. It is cute and girly, but highly impractical. This product may appeal to the young and some older because of the color, but this is truly one of those 'pink' ticket items where they are more expensive than say if you purchased a razor advertised and sold for men. It is ineffective at doing what it's suppose to do. I tried this razor as I would use any razor. I tried it with saving cream, foam, gel, shampoo and conditioner (yes, I do this: no waste in my home), and finally just with water to see how the 'moisturizing strips work). Let me just tell you that it came up lacking on all fronts. I felt skinned alive instead of silky smooth and confident, as the picture on the coupons would have you to believe. Final verdict: Skip due to price, impracticality and lack of usefulness. Keep the one you have been using, ladies or better yet, take a few steps to the men's section of the aisle and pick up the BIC hybrid advanced disposable razor that comes with 6 cartridges. It also have 3 blades, but a much thicker shaver handle and better shave any day. I give one star for color and advertisement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first time using the new Bic Soleil Shine razor and also a first time using a 5 blades razor. At the beginning I was afraid to cut my legs but this never happen. The 5 blades do an excellent job and also the pivoting head match perfect with my legs and armpits shape. I get the closeness shave ever and I love it. I had no irritation, I think the moisturizing band did its job great. I like the colorfull handle because many reasons: first I can identify new razor from old razor and second I can use one color for legs shave and the other color for armpits.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using an electric razor since college (so a few years now), but there are times when you need to shave in a jiffy. I thought the BIC Soleil Shine would be perfect for instances when my electric razor wasn't charged, or when I was in a rush. I wouldn't recommend this razor for everyday use. I felt that it got the job done but wasn't silky smooth like other razors I had used in the past were. I really didn't like the handle, yes its nice and colorful, but its not comfortable in my petite hands. The 5 blades were okay, but they never seemed sharp enough to get all the subtle. The pivoting head, well it was good, but other products also offer that. Unfortunately, I don't think I would use BIC Soleil Shine in the future, unless I was in a crisis situation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Bic razors before but the new Soleil shine razors have definitely given me the BEST shave experience not one hair left behind with the five blades they have and my legs are the smoothest. Also the color on the handles are cool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] BIC Soleil Shine disposables are great. Now normally, I'm a Venus girl, but after this campaign I think I'm going to be a Soleil girl! I'm impressed by the ease of use and the shape of the handle. This is something that usually lacks with disposable since they aren't flexible/bendable like head replacement razors. BIC Soleil Shine razors are perfect for women on the go and I like them a lot. Also, the shave is close which is something that disposables sometimes lack. The five blades make a huge difference. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never thought of BIC as a high quality brand. It was usually just something I would pick up quickly if I was on vacation and forgot my razor. But trying the new BIC Soleil Shine has changed my opinion. The 5 blades help you really get a close and smooth shave without needing to pass over areas multiple times. I'm also a fan of having a cover over the blades. I'm so surprised by how many brand don't have this feature. It helps with travel and helps the blades last longer. I would definitely recommend this product!

I recommend shaving while showering because then you come out feeling nicely shaven. So glad I have this! Best disposable razor I had ever used.

The pivoting head made for an easy shave, especially around the knees. The five blades helped to give an extremely close shave and left my skin so silky and smooth. The comfort of the razor made it super easy to use. I especially loved that I didn't have to shave as often. My legs stayed smoother longer than with the other razors I was using. A great razor with cute color choices that gives an amazingly close shave--the new BIC Soleil Shine has it all. This razor is fantastic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the BIC� Soleil Shine? razors! The five blades gave me a clean, smooth shave. The moisture strip was great!! I didn't even need to use moisturizer after I shaved. The pivoting head moved just the ways I needed it to move. The handle color is pretty. The only negative comment I have is that it was a little tricky to remove the blade cover. Instead of snapping off from bottom to top, it slid off from side to side. Now that I have figured it out, I love it! This feature makes it less likely that I will cut my finger on the blades when I take off the cover.
