[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shaving is a task that has to be done for appearance and comfort. I am pretty sure that before we began shaving, people were comfortable with how their legs felt and did not have to worry about stubble and how many days it had been since they last shaved. Of course, having a woman beat you in the hairiest leg contest around the campfire may or may not have been a turn on way back when, but that is neither here nor there. In the beginning I liked the BIC Soleil Shine razor, a lot. My legs felt amazing after the first shave. There appeared to be not a single hair left with the minimal effort required to wield this five bladed gift to women. And a shave that seemed to last for more than a day or two...yes! This was a win. Then I used it a second and third time. Still a great shave, but, by the fourth use, the hair that was reappearing was beginning to feel much more course, almost like my husbands stubble. I did not want to stab this man when we cuddled and I did not want to have to start shaving daily to avoid this pain. Because of this I went back to my BIC Soleil three blade options and, while I still have courser regrowth, it does not seem as aggressive. Another problem I am finding is the packaging. I had just recently purchased a bonus pack of 4 + 2 razors of BIC Soleil three blade disposable razors. I placed the packages side by side for both BIC Soleil razor and the two pack appeared to be the same size, or the Shine package was possibly slightly larger than, the six pack. What a waste of packaging - definitely not very earth friendly. The colors are fine. It is a razor with a handle and it isn't my husbands razor. We pay more so the handle can be blue, pink, yellow, whatever. They pay more to replace the heads and have metal. It. Is. A. Razor. We pay for it so we do not have to sharpen blades or rip hot wax off our legs. Here is my summary: Is it a good razor? Yes - Will it shave your legs? Yes - Is it worth the price compared to the three bladed razors for what it does? Hey, it is your money! - Does the handle make the difference? The colors are the same (or close to the same) as all the other ones, you are just getting pink and yellow in your TWO PACK instead of all yellow and oranges or all pinks in your four pack. If you want more adventure in your colors, look for the eight pack!

So, I was more than happy when this sample arrived in my mailbox. Talk about good timing... With the warm weather, I wanted to think about the possibility of baring my legs again! I tossed the yucky old razor that had been residing in my shower all winter and put the spiffy yellow one in its place. Then I took it for a test drive. Wow. I don't think my legs have ever felt so smooth! Glided right over all my lumps and bumps and left me feeling refreshed and like a new lady. Thanks for helping me clear out my *ahem* winter slacking and prepare me for short weather ahead!

They don't go dull Smooth shave Cons Depending where you go these razors can be over $7.00 There is only two in a pack. Hard to find.

I go through razors very fast, and I have been waiting for a disposable razor that can keep up. I am very pleased with this one. I feel as though I got a very close shave. It is so nice to be able to use it so many times before the blades get dull. So far I have been unable to fine a disposable razor with 5 blades. I have found 4 before but never 5 and I need 5! I have been forced to use really expensive razors with different heads. I am very excited to go back to disposable razors. The easy grip handle also helps get a close shave. The colors are fun and the packaging is easy to open. I am very impressed. I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bic Soleil Shine razors are now my favorite razors. I typically use an epilator on my legs but razor on my under arms and these are great. They glide so smoothly and shave so close. Currently obsessed with these now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The five blades are enough to give me a smooth finish with just one stroke (something I wasn't expecting from a disposable razor!). In the past, disposable razors were about as useful as cardboard. This one has changed my entire opinion of the line, and I will probably use these for all my travel (so much easier than having to toss my expensive razor in my suitcase and hope it doesn't cut anything!) The swivel head (one of the big product features) turns just enough to help you shave, but is easily controlled. Honestly, this razor reminded me of the one I use all the time (about $30 for the razor and about that much for the replacement heads). The value alone is enough to keep me coming back for more, and the quality of the product makes me wish I'd known about these sooner!

I love the cool and new exciting colors on the razor as well. When it comes down to it these offer a great shave at a fraction of the cost of some other brands that are out there. Shaving is such a pain, some women have to shave more often than others, with this razor you really get a close shave so you dont have to worry about stubble under your arms or on your legs. Blades of course are very sharp and you can get many shaves out of the razor even though it is a disposable razor.

I love the Bic brand and how this is a great addition to their line of products. Its a brand that will never let you down. I even caught the my husband using one of my razors because he ran out of his and used it as a back up and even he agreed it was a great razor. Not sure many men will admit to that! The five blades is what does the trick to give you the close shave you need. The pivoting head makes it very easy to get around the hard areas like the knees. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before I tried this razor I was in love with the packaging. I love the colors and the design. The colors of the razors remind me of summer and fun times. I was excited thinking I was going to have super soft skin after my shave. I will say I was disappointed in the product. I have used far better disposable razors in the past. I do like the handle design and the material used to make it. I also like how the head stays firm and doesn't rotate. However, this razor irritated my skin each time I used it. I don't have sensitive skin either. I tried different shaving creams and I even used oil and conditioner. Nothing helped. The razor also go dull so much faster than the others I have used. I will have to say I wont be buying this particular style again. I am not saying BIC is the problem. Maybe the blades on this style just are not for me.
