[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bic Soleil Shine exceeded my expectations. It really is the best disposable razor that I have ever used. It made the chore of shaving hassle free and not much of a chore any longer. It gives a close shave with minimal effort.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really looking forward to trying BIC's new 5 blade razor. When I received a sample to review, the first thing I noticed is the package only contains 2 razors. They are in separate compartments so you can split it once opened to take up less space, but overall the complete package is the same size as a typical 4 pack. I opened it to try it and liked the close shave from the 5 blades, but it's not my favorite razor. The razor head itself doesn't have any rounded edges like my better razors do. To me it actually had the feel of those cheap single or double blade disposable razors that you only use when there are no other razors (like when you're in a hotel, don't have your razor and this is what they give you). I also think it could use more in terms of the moisture strip. I noticed my skin became very dry after using the razor, so I had to go back to the triple blade version and sporadically use this one. I think a few tweaks to this and it would be much better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not exactly sure how I was selected to review this product, but I was probably not the right candidate for this product. I am not a big shaver. I don't have a lot of hair on my legs or arms, so I never shave. The only part of my body that I shave regularly are my armpits. Frankly, I was a bit scared to try this product given that I've only ever used one or two blade disposable razors for the little area that I shave. 5 blades is super intimidating! I ended up giving the second razor in the package to my significant other to try out. Upon opening the package, the handle felt nice and fit well in my hand. I also like the colors that it comes in - bright and cheery. However, that's probably what I like the most. The lubrication strips are very small which doesn't let the razor glide very smoothly. Also the razor head does not pivot, which is ok for a 1 or 2 blade razor, but for something this wide on such a small area, it is becomes hard to use. I ended up with bloody knicks and razor burn upon my first use of the razor. I am not happy with this product. Unfortunately, this is not one that I will purchase in the future. However, I could see that if you had a larger area to shave (legs, etc.) and with the use of shaving gel/cream, it could be a good product for others.

So far what I like about the Bic Soleil Shine is the rubber grip and pivoting head. What I really like most about this razor is the 5 blades, a really close shave, and they come in bright colors. I can't wait to give the coupons to my family and friends. So they can try this out for themselves

My skin is very sensitive so when I look for a razor, I need something that will provide a close shave without giving me razor burn. The 5 blades gave me a super close shave with little to no skin irritation. I gave this product a 3 instead of a 5 for the following reasons. The pivoting head" doesn't really pivot the way I'm used to. It does move slightly

Another big factor as to why I love this shaver is because I didn't have to go over a spot I just shaved. The moisterizing strip leaves your skin feeling so smooth! I had been useing another brand but I have found my new go to brand, Bic Soleil Shine! And the end result is the best, a clean smoothly beautiful shave.

You would be surprised how many woman/girls do not like the color pink. I am grateful for the sample experience and of course for all the coupons that will help out tremendously.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, the numerous blades and pivoting head were amazing originally. I was able to get one of the best shaves I've ever had, and didn't cut myself once. I was surprised to find that the razor didn't last as long as I'd hope. After only two uses (in between which I stored the razor somewhere dry) I already saw rust starting to form where the blades were attached. I expected the razor to last 4-5 uses at minimum. I continued to use it, and by four uses the little circles by which the blades were attached were entirely rusted.
