In the last year it was discontinued and my husband suggested just getting the men's alternative. It was much cheaper for the same end result. I've been using his brand to minimize double purchases in the house and really enjoy the close shave of a men's 5 blade razor. Unfortunately, they are flimsy and don't hold up as long as the blades do. Despite this, I can't see myself going back to the women's alternative since there really isn't anything comparable. UNTIL NOW! Enter, the Bic Soleil Shine. It is the perfect blend of everything I wanted in a razor but haven't been able to find. It is sturdy, I can towel dry it without it falling apart on me or snapping into 2 useless pieces. It has 5 blades and gives me the closest shave since my husband's razor. It even has a moisturizing strip that lasts as long as its blades. My favorite part? The beautiful colors! I'm so sick of ugly, grey men's razors. I love my pink Bic Soleil Shine!

The razed didn't rust over night and the handle wasn't slippery or hard to handle. I didn't get razor burn thanks to the cocoa butter strip built in to the razor. This is a great product!

I tend to nick myself when I'm shaving but I've used this product 3 times already and each time was a success. Not only a success but a smooth, comfortable and close shave. The moisture strip was an added plus. The rubber grip was ergonomical and comfortable. There is also rubber on the top part of the handle for better handling. What a great idea! I definitely will purchase this product when it's time for new razors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The razors definitely provided a nice smooth shave, efficient in every way you'd expect. The design is shaped perfectly for maneuvering, great grip on handle, and also the fun bright colors (pink & yellow) were a plus. I was extremely pleased to find the razor had 5 blades instead of just 2 or 3. After about 3 weeks of shaving with one razor, the blades are still sharp and clean, even when shaving every other day, which is an improvement over other similar razors I have used in the past which seem to dull faster. I will continue using this razor until it begins to dull, but i have a feeling these razors are going to last good long while. One thing I would comment on is the fact that I wish the razor head was wider with wider moisture strips to provide a better barrier between the blades and those tricky hard to reach areas, like the knee area which is always a nicks and cuts area for me. Overall, I really like these razors they get the job done with a great quality and design.

The moisture strip kept my legs smooth and soft. I was really amazed at how well it works under the arms the shave is so close its like you waxed without the pain. The comfort hand and pivoting head are just another plus to this razor and they also come it bright fun colors

A few nicks here and there, not the closest shave after the first 2-3 uses. But the BIC� Soleil Shine? razors hold up! I've used one razor for 2 weeks now and it still gives my legs a great shave. Even the minor design features, like the slide-on blade protector, make so much more sense than plastic blade protectors I've encountered in the past. I initially loved these just for underarm use because they made my legs itch like crazy the first few uses. Now after a few weeks these work like a dream on my legs. Either I figured out how to use the handle properly after user error or my legs adjusted to the super close shave. These gave me the easiest underarm shave ever and a super close shave on my legs. I definitely will be buying these again and recommend them to every one!

I don't seem to have as many razor bumps, so that was really nice. I wish there were more than 2 razors in a pack. Maybe that is just where I shop thought.
