Batteries are fine, but the packaging is ridiculous! Only purchase these if you like to work up a sweat getting them out of the nearly impossible package. Somehow they have made it even worse this year. Afraid I will not be purchasing these any more.

Used Energizer D batteries for led lanterns for the same time with another leading brand and Energizer kept the charge a lot longer with all variables being equal.

I have bought batteries in bulk for years because, (especially from Sam’s, name brands) are just so much more cost efficient. I bought C’s & D’s. There was no perforated opening on the backside for easy access. It took 30 minutes and a sharp knife to get into the compartment. I should have ended up in then ER room for stitches! I think from now on I will go down to the local hardware store to purchase the batteries I need. I will be rethinking my battery buying in the future.

I bought these batteries to replace batteries in emergency lanterns. I had always used Duracell in the past but, decided to buy these this time. After replacing batteries lanterns were stored in case of power outage. The power went out tonight and went to get lanterns. The lanterns had not been used since we changed batteries and they were dead. From now on, I will stick with what I know works.

Every battery in the pack was dead. So frustrating. waste of money.
