Best gift ever!!

This was a birthday gift to my husband from the kids. We put it up together as a family and had so much fun and made plenty of memories. When we were done we realized how awesome and beautiful this structure was and sturdy. I recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful addition to their backyard.

Assembly and quality

The directions were pretty good with only a couple small items not referenced in the directions. It took two people 7 hours to assemble it. We had to drill a couple holes that weren't drilled at the factory. Overall the directions are very good. The canopy itself seems very nice.

Great Gazebo

We love this gazebo. It is very well made. It's large and fits our space in front of our barn perfectly our space is 24 x 12 and this is 16 x 12 so it allows space on both sides as we wanted. Assembly was a bit time consuming but I would highly recommend the bilt app. My husband and I took our time and did this in 2 days ( we are in our 60's) All pieces were labeled accurately which made it easier. No damage to any pieces even tho the box was ripped and damaged. The parts were packaged and wrapped very well. All pieces and hardware were appropriately marked and even included extra if needed. The screen is great -I do wish it also had curtains but the screen is very nice. Only complaint is the last 4 pieces for the roof corners did not screw down properly. The inset threaded pieces came loose {this piece was welded screw threading}and therefore the pieces were not secured tightly with the screws. The problem with this is that when it is windy the roof pieces clatter because they are not tight. Having said all of that a few hiccups but we do love this gazebo expensive but compared to others it's worth the price! If your on the fence just do it you won't regret it!

Worth the assembly time

The quality of this gazebo is very good and we really enjoy it on our deck. It took 2 full days to assemble - by myself the first day and with my son the next. The written instructions were not great so we relied on the Bilt app most of the time. It's not difficult to assemble, just tedious and time consuming. I'm not sure how one person could do it alone. The looks of it is worth the time spent. We get many compliments on it.

A great gazebo for the price!

Very nice gazebo for the price and very sturdy. The boxes are HEAVY - make sure you have lots of help getting them where you'll be staging them from! Instructions are fairly easy to follow - make sure you read the steps and follow the steps in the order they say, otherwise you'll be taking things back apart! Make sure you take your time and be methodical - don't try to blow through this in a few hours; it took me two weekends of about 5 hours each day to build it by myself. You will need a second set of hands when you're standing the columns and mounting the upper cover. A few of the bolt holes didn't quite align but applying some moderate pressure on one piece or the other to spread/pinch them helped align them. Only had one piece (the "Panel Cover - Big Top") that didn't align with the bolt holes properly and had to drill a new hole and get a self-tapping metal screw to attach it. The roof panels are thin and moderate wind will make them bang some but the edges are pinned pretty well. Make sure you have a good metric socket and ratchet for the majority of the build, and a cordless drill to drive in the final screws. The "Mosquito Netting" at the top is worthless to keep out any bugs and the side netting feels cheap and an after-thought. Overall we are very pleased with the purchase.

Nice but . . .

Gazebo seems sturdy and is lovely. It was a nightmare to assemble. Instructions were useless and the app skipped entire steps. Delivery was less than desired. Only one young man and he had a heck of a time getting off the truck. Dropped it on our front sidewalk.

Good product though delivery was a problem

I am very happy with the structure. It does take at least two people to assemble. It went together smoothly. Some of the written instructions could be clearer, but ultimately worked well. I didn't use the internet instructions, though some comments suggested that those were clearer. Delivery could have been better. There was notice that the product was in town, but no delivery time was set. Next notice was that the product was delivered. It was delivered to the end of the driveway which required me to move it so we could move our cars. Two huge boxes with close to 300 lbs of material to move in 100 degree heat! Not fun! We could have moved cars out of the way and had the product delivered in a better place with a little communication.

Great family project

Shockingly simple assembly! I felt a bit overwhelmed when I opened the first box and figured I had bitten off more than I could chew. Spot on directions and correctly identified parts made the job easier than anticipated. I was amazed at how much I was able to do by myself. Additional help in the beginning and end are needed.

Throw out the printed instructions!

I'm still in the process of building (by myself) but I have a few thoughts that might help others. Use the written directions to inventory your parts and then throw them away! They are terrible. Instead, use the Built app that Sam's made the Vendor pay to produce to show you how to build this thing. I lost three weeks of build time wrestling with the parts people (they are clearly not consumer centric), discovering that the part in the written instructions is not the part you need to build the Gazebo. Honestly, get the app and follow it. I'm optimistic the rest of the build will go smoothly for me because of the app.

Gazebo

This gazebo is all aluminum, tricky to put together but my husband is good with large puzzles! Haven't had time to enjoy it yet, the weather here in Md has been rainy and windy! However I notice rain is still coming in through the top which I'm not happy about. Netting to keep bugs out on roof is not secure enough to keep them out. Had one damaged column. Company in California request pictures and filling out forms before sending new piece. New piece came pretty quickly. Gazebo made in China.
