I bought this grass trimmer and edger from Sam's last summer. It was very easy to assemble and use, and I loved it until this spring and the original spool ran out of line. This particular trimmer needs 0.063” diameter line…. Of which you cannot buy ANYWHERE…not even from the manufacturer. Now I'm stuck with a useless machine and battery and have to start searching for a new one.

Can't get replacement string, so what's the use in having it?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's time to clean up the yard, but I don't have much for lawn, just some small landscaped areas of grass and sidewalk edgers. Not enough to bother with a lawn mower and a hand held trimmer is just fine. I like that this is cordless and lightweight, and especially that it is stringless. I have no desire to get into all that. Since I don't have that much area to deal with the battery life is fine for me, might die out too soon for bigger jobs. Overall it does the job just fine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This weed eater is super powerful and efficient! I admit I was skeptical at first because it was electronic but not anymore! I have ditched my gas weed eater and use this one all the time now! No more pulling and pulling to get it cranked! Just hit the button and you are cutting grass!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this trimmer! The most important aspect about it to me is that it doesn't use gas and is battery operated. I try to avoid gas products because my kids enjoy using the tools that I do for our landscaping. Gas just worries me! I love that this is rechargeable and super lightweight! There is no cord to get tangled in or having to worry about extension cables. This is easy to use and the directions are simple to understand. I purchased an additional battery so that I have a backup if I do the entire yard and garden. Great product! I'm looking into the push mower as well!

It's great because it's not gas powered perfect for trimming around flowers and other areas. I use this trimmer a lot and i absolutely love it and the ease of using it.

Not working

I bought this because I wanted something light that was easy to use. I'm recently widowed. I'm a senior. This thing is a piece of garbage. It rips grass out. It doesn't cut it. It's absolutely terrible. Don't waste your money. I'm so disappointed.
