There are added spots on the body of the bag that are stretchier so that you are not getting rips in the bag when pulling out of the trash bag. The 1 star is for the smell only. The bags seem fine but the scent is terrible, very overpowering and smell like burned wires. I usually do not write reviews but I wanted other consumers to know about these, especially ones that have animals, because if these are that strong of a smell to me, think what your dog or cat is dealing with. I am so impressed with these Hefty trash bags. They are very durable. We are a family of 7 so we go through a lot of trash and need a bag that won't rip. Then adding the scent of Fabuloso just really just takes these bags above the other brands.
