1st Night Sleep a 10!! Somewhat higher than I wanted but after sleeping on it, ok with height. Prbly didn't need foundation or should have got low profile but foundation came with this model. I will say it took forrevver doing my research amd reading reviews. This is not firm but a soft med firm, so comfortable. My back soreness will tell the tale! Helped a lot the 1st night! I could hardly walk without a lot of pain. Good luck!

I needed an extra firm mattress and this Beautyrest Silver Extra Firm was just what I needed for a good night sleep. This mattress provides so much support I am sleeping better and not waking in the middle of the night trying to roll over like I was with my old mattress. I have woken in the morning well rested and NO BACK pain which is AMAZING! My husband also is sleeping better. We both are sleeping more soundly with no more restlessness at night. This mattress is sure to provide that. We are very happy with this mattress. My husband has backpain and this firm mattress is very comfortable for him and he says his backpain has considerbly reduced. I am sleeping well as you dont feel the other persons toss n turns on this. I am buying a king size mattress for my guest bedroom. No need to put a box under. Its very firm but if your bed requires one please use the box otherwise its not required. A very big thank you from hubby to Simmons Beautyrest.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this mattress in exchange for my review This is a great mattress now if your like me and our used to sleeping on a softer mattress it takes a little getting used to this mattress is more firm than soft but it sleeps fantastic I woke up with no aches or pains and I slept fully for 8 hours which I don't normally do so I hope this mattress last alot of years!

We love this mattress so far in regards to the comfort aspect. It is extra firm but not hard and unyielding. However it makes a creaking groaning type sound as you get in and out of it. So much so that it will wake my wife up at times. The delivery guy said that it has to have a break in period to work that out of it. He also said the reason you might not hear it in the showroom is because it has been demo-ed by so many people that its all worked out. But we ordered it online without going into the showroom. (Our Bad) Well we will find out.

The only thing is I wish it wasn't white due to having small kids and messes just happen but a good mattress protector will help with this. We chose this one over a firm one since we like our mattress to be more softer and plush and this is exactly what the Beautyrest mattress is. So if you don't like the sinking in feeling then this will not be for you but like I said this is what we prefer and we have a wonderful nights sleep every night.
