The mattress is firm, but the top is something wonderful. You won't sink in there, but it will provide a nice soft gentle support. My back hasn’t hurt anywhere as near as much as it used to. I actually fall asleep quickly and wake up less frequently as I used to. If you have back issues, this is the mattress to get! It’s also very thick and higher off the ground, so it’s easier to get out of. I have this on my adjustable bed and it works perfectly.

The first night sleeping on this mattress was the best sleep Ive had in a long time. I actually overslept and was late getting the kids to school. The mattress is firm enough that it supports my weight and doesn't add extra pressure on my shoulders and lower back. It is very thick and the material on the top of the mattress is very soft. The only con I have with this mattress is that I placed it on top of another mattress, so it constantly slides. If placed on a box spring or a platform bed, this shouldn't be a problem. I used to dread bedtime, but now because of this mattress I'm excited to go to bed now.
