I got a hybrid that was a bit more firm and every night I'd toss and turn. I got this extra firm mattress to see if it would help and I sleep through the night now. I don't feel my partner when he moves around and the sheets never pull up off the bed, probably because it is so firm that there isn't much movement. So far it is holding up shape really well.

The firm bed we traded in during the 120 trial period had problems. Too soft on one side and in the middle. It was a flawed mattress. I got this for my Mom. We then traded for the extra firm and oh, what a difference. Thank you. But, I was very concerned about the price difference. I will call to double check the information.

This mattress is firm but allows my bones to be cushioned. I cant remember when ive had a good night's sleep before this mattress. Firmer is better for me and I now know that. My husband prefers this level of firmness and discovered that it’s better for his posture and back. I find it a little too firm but I’m growing accustomed to it. If you struggle with mattresses that you start sinking into after a while, then this could be a good firmness level. Even for casual sitting it has been much better for my back. It is quite thick so it sits much higher on our platform frame compared to our old mattress. That’s the only thing I would change is to reduce the depth of the mattress.
