I've installed over 40 sets of lights and would hope I could install at least another 40 more. These lights have changed the lives of so many people, including myself, especially because these go up and stay up, and can be used all year. If I could give these lights 10 stars I would. No one has ever regretted spending the money to have them installed with us here in NJ and also PA. Being Licensed and Insured helps, but being a Govee Partner and Affiliate is what it's all about.

Installed one set on the front of the house for Christmas. Will install the other set this weekend on the backside of the house. Neighbors love the light shows and we're glad we can leave them up after the holidays! We have several Govee products and these are just as great as the others!

I want to give these lights a 5 star so bad because they look amazing, they were easy to install, and the app has been very easy to use. BUT the fact that I cannot buy an extra extension to properly fit my house is outrageous. There is (1) in the box, but they do not sell them separately!? Why? Every house is different, and the extensions would allow for customers to custom fit their house. Right now it is incomplete because I have no more extensions. I have had several neighbors and friends ask about the lights since I installed them, but it is a shame that no one thought to sell a simple extension separately.

People love seeing it specially with the music playing. Cars stop by and take pictures. I personally love the automatization and how easy it was to install. Had a few instances where the 3M would not stick but with the additional ones added and some pressure it worked fine

Installed these outdoor “permanent"lights and they worked great for 2 months. After that they flickered randomly (not part of any setting or pattern). After contacting Govee to help with the issue they would not help unless I had a receipt (this was a gift and I am unable to get the receipt). I usually like Govee products, but I would consider other offerings.

Okay, they are brand new and would love to give a review in 5 years. So far so good the only complaint is the app is a bit confusing and twinkle is more like strobe at times, we only like a few of the presets and are having to try and learn to get them to due what we want them to, it is a big learning curve but hoping we can get there eventually.

We are very happy with the ease of installation and the final look. We were also very pleased with ease of using the app and changing the colors of the lighting. We appreciated having a clip for every light, and were impressed with the durability of the 3m adhesive. I do recommend taking your time and plan out your lights in the peaks of your roof.

So far everything works great! They have some really great features. There are some things I wish Govee would do is: 1. Sell the power supply. I used 4 of the 6… 16' lines and would have love to use those somewhere else but I can't without buying a whole new set. 2. Sell the spacer extensions for in-between spaces we don't want lights. For houses with multiple sections of the roof. 3. Grouping. In the app, you can pick any light you want to use. I have a couple things I would like to do. This is easy to do in an update to the app if they want to do it. Example:. I picked one light over each end section of the house to come on the with the timer in Blue over night. If I could group them in my favorite, I could change the colors without selecting just one light at a time. Another Example: I would like to pick every other light in a group. Color those whatever I want, then have the other group saved and color them. I develop apps and the programming should be very easy to do in this app. Don't get me wrong… These are fantastic lights and we love them. I'm just pointing out things I could have used. Hopefully Govee will see this and implement these things. Buy these for sure :-)

Installation is pretty easy, the problem is the adhesive doesn't hold well and the screws the kit comes with for the clips are not even useable. The head is way too small and no drill bit will work. They've been installed less than a week and are falling down, and I cleaned the mounting area and applied pressure on each light for at least 20 seconds each. When they are up and turned on they look awesome, but after taking my time and installing all day on a two story home I don't really feel like fixing them constantly, that was the appeal of buying “permanent"outdoor lights.

The lights look good but the app is lacking in what you can really do to customize your display. Especially when paired with other Govee products such as the RGBIC flood lights. You can only use their preset scenes to make them synchronized and match up.
