I expected this to be similar to other salts from grinders. it is terrible. I can't even figure out why it tastes so bad. I won't be using it or buying it.

I have used this salt for several years. Apparently, the manufacturer has decided to find a cheaper way to manufacture the grinder. I had been simmering a large pot of a special pasta topping made with 2 pounds of freshly ground round, three sweet bell peppers, minced garlic, Rotel tomatoes, tomato paste, garlic, and white wine. I opened a BRAND NEW bottle of Sam's Pink Himalayan salt. I gave it ONE TURN and the entire grinder head fell off into my entree ... followed by half of the bottle of unground salt. The entree I had been simmering for an hour was ENTIRELY RUINED, along with about $30 worth of ingredients. To make matters worse, it was too late to start something else; so we ended up ordering takeout which cost another $60. So this $4 bottle of salt which is now down the drain actually cost almost $100 ... and I still have no Pink Himalayan Salt. Unfortunately, dinner for me, my husband, our daughter, and her significant other was RUINED ... and I was embarrassed. I will NEVER buy this grinder again. EVER! AVOID AT ALL COST!

This shaker was great when we first got it. Salt had great flavor. Grinder worked well. About halfway through the container we had the lid come off multiple times when grinding putting a ton of salt on our food and ruining a few dishes when they were finished. The lid needs a resistance so it doesn’t pop off so easy.

Nice product to have on hand for something a little different

Unbelievably less "salty" than table salt.

This was broken , and I have ordered 5 of them

Unfortunately this is not the first time but the grinder top was broken.

Hard to turn. Salt is excellent but difficult to turn top.

Salt great, grinder brought first time using it. Bought 2nd bottle, same thing!
