CRAFT / SEWING for an 84 year old

Love it. Just put it up a few hours ago. Only problem we’re the instructions. The box showed the measurements but did not have instructions in the container showing what the red latch was for. My son figured it out but there was no where I would have been able to open it. Please have the manufacture place instructions in the box. I did call Lifetime and they helped me and told me that it was hard to open. Very sturdy and priced right.

Versital

Size and flexibility are great. Good for the grandchildren and perfect for a serving table. size and flexibility of this table is Great. Good for the grandchildren and their projects, and great for a serving table. The reason for the poor rating is the fact that we need to pull the legs up and down and it becomes a 2 person operation with one of us getting our thumbs pinched! doing this once a week is really difficult! Also several of the screws under the table (holding the frame to the table) come loose regularly and need to be screwed back in.

The last folding table you will ever need!

My employees use these tables to sample products in grocery stores. We started out using other brands that were a little cheaper, but they were heavy, and were constantly breaking. I was also constantly getting complaints about pinched employee fingers while setting up or taking down. Since switching to Lifetime Products, we haven't had to replace one table, and we haven't had one pinched finger. Very happy!

More positive than negative

Downfalls to the table, in our opinion, are: 1) It is a tad wobbly, might be due to the adjustable legs? 2) Moving it (while set up). The latch part that locks table into place doesn't appear to be connecting very well so if you pick the table up to move it, the table does bend in the mid a little. There are more positives than negatives; Table is great to take on gatherings, has a hard surface (not like a card table) you can hose it off without worrying about any fabric getting ruined, you can adjust the height, it folds in half (locks in place to keep closed) and fits nicely in the back of a small SUV. The table is doing the job we purchased it for :). Hope the info helps.

Functional

This table is great. It is just the right size for our child's bedroom. It has 3 different heights - the lowest level is approx 24" so it is perfect for playing with legos or other toys. He also does his homework on it. It is easily collapsible and portable. We are pleased with this item.

Worth their weight in gold. Or more.

Worth their weight in gold. No, that's not fair, because these tables don't weigh much, which is part of their benefit. They're durable, last forever, damage-proof, and (best of all) adjustable-height. I've bought many over the years and keep finding more places (and people) to use them with.

Great!

It is exactly what I was looking for. I am a quilter that does not have a room, however, I use part of a room so I needed something I could use for cut patterns and quilt strips and easily put back. Perfect size 4' and the 3 hights are great. Thank you.

handy surface

It's a very handy table for lightweight items that need a place off the floor to sit. I had guests for the holidays and I wanted an extra surface for them to use for toiletries, their laptops or whatever because there is no dresser of chest of drawers in the room where they had their things. I'm planning to also use it when I need extra "counter" for holding food items when I have a buffet. It isn't as strong as the tables with the legs that are also supported at the center, but I wanted the versatility of being able to change it to 3 different heights. I like it so far. It just seems like it would not be good for anything that is very heavy. Also nice is the way it folds up - very easy to store!

Great for scouts!

I have used my 4 ft fold in half table for 20+ cookie booths over the last 5 years. It folds up to fit in my trunk and is quick and easy to set up. It is very sturdy and works great! It adjusts for craft projects so the girls can stand up to work. The only problem I have is that my husband likes to take it on his camping trips with his Boy Scouts too.

Great for camping

Pros:Good Height,Sturdy,Good Surface Area,Nice Finish,"Folds Adjustable","High for tall people" Cons:Warps Best Uses:"camping" Describe Yourself:High-end Shopper Bottom Line:Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. I bought this table from a camping show 4 years ago and it's had a rough life, always living in the truck, stays out at camp in all weather and still going stong. Only fault is it's slightly warped into the centre. I couldn't find it in any store so looked online. Found it! I will be buying another few.
