As for opening the canister, we do not recommend using anything sharp like a knife or scissors to open your packaging. If you would like to use a tool to aid in breaking the perforations, we recommend that you gently use the back of a spoon or a butter knife to pre-break the perforations on the lid. If you can pre-break the some of the perforated line, this should allow you to lift the lid with more ease.
