The Vital Proteins provides both along with an Typical Amino Acid Profile. This combination has helped my hair and nails. I mix it with Ocean Spray Cran-Energy juice to make it taste better.

This is the only product I have found that actually does what it claims to do. My hair has stopped falling out in chunks & is visibly thicker. My skin looks more plump & smoother. Definitely worth buying. You have to take it consistently for over a month to start noticing the changes. However, you do need to up your cardio or this will make you chunky. If you like building muscle, this will get you stacked.

Every day in coffee and I've noticed less pain getting up in morning. Less hungry during early part of day. New packaging is awful. Its nearly impossible to open. I transfer it into the old canister...so glad I saved it! To open, I need a knife and wrestle the top off. It doesn't seal well after that.

I like that it dissolves immediately in any hot liquid. Another brand I was using was left in clumps. What I don't like is the new paper container because it is easier for pests to get into, and it doesn't store well in the freezer which I store it in. I usually purchase 4 at a time.

This stuff actually works. I have seen such a difference in my skin and nails when using this consistently. I had a nail that had split in the same spot for years and wouldn't stop no matter what I did until I started taking this. That split is gone now, and my skin looks softer and more moisturized with less noticable wrinkles.

Been taking this for around three years now. I had weight loss surgery and much of my hair fell out. Since taking this product my hair is much fuller again and healthier. When they say no thats exactly what you can expect. Put this on any food or in any drink and you will not taste it.. The best.

I love this stuff and buy it all the time. That being said I ordered it from Sam’s on line shipping recently. When I received it it was in a different container. The container was cardboard. I’m not sure if that had an effect or if it was just a coincidence . Anyway it tasted horrible. I had to return it. I was able to purchase some in the old plastic container. Now I’m afraid of the cardboard one and if they no longer have plastic will have to change to a different brand

It was bad enough that you had to buy another brand collagen to find a scoop, but now you have to buy a storage container too. The new packaging WILL NOT keep the product fresh till you finish the container. I bought 4 of these via shipping and it will be the last I buy. I am tired of spending extea money (meaning outside the product itself) for this brand of collagen. It's just not worth it. The product itself is great but they changed the pkg to make it worthless.

I’ve been on an eating plan where I balance calories, carbs and fiber. This collagen is a great source of protein with no added carbs, Low calories and no sugar.,dissolves easily unlike so many other similar products. Easy to mix into my morning coffee or tea. Also virtually tasteless so I also can add to yogurt, cottage cheese etc. going on 4 years of using it every day and plan on many more.

I decided to try this stuff when I learned collagen is one of the things we start losing as we age. When I first tried this I didn't feel like it had a taste when I added it to cold water. It dissolved well (I did 2 tablespoons in 30 ounces of water), but after a few days I could start to taste it. I tried to add fruit to my water, but at that point I could still taste it. It's best disguised in a hot tea/coffee beverage. This is easy to do in the winter, but I'm not sure I'll enjoy a hot beverage in July. After about 2 months of use, my skin doesn't feel different but my nails seem stronger. I hope to see more visible benefits over the next few months.
