I add mine to coffee on most days but also this blends in well with water. I have noticed an improvement in my joints (ankles and knees). I suffer from tendinitis and have been able to stop taking Motrin. My GF and I are just about done with one container of it Im gonna buy again.

This powder definitely does have a gross aftertaste if you only mix it in water or something like tea. When I mix it in my coffee it’s fine and has no taste. My hair and skin are looking good but I’m also taking vitamins and have a good diet so not positive if it’s the collagen working or something else. This company sends too many emails.

Unfortunately I’ve never been one to remember to take supplements or vitamins on a daily basis. However, after being nudged by a few family members that had already tried it, to just try the collagen powder, I did. I noticed immediate (4-5 days) results in my hair and nail growth! Personally, I love adding it to my latte every morning, and sometimes my midday tea. I have struggled with deep and painful cystic acne for many years. I ordered two different collagen products. My daughter and i tried Vital Proteins first as it had the additional Vit C and HAcid suppplements. It had supior mixing into our morning coffees. I noticed an improvement in my facial skin texture before I finished my first bottle and the additional bennefit that it helped sustain my appetite as I am practicing intermittant fasting. No effect on the taste of my brewed coffee

I find scoring around the lid with a knife, leaving 2 inches untouched opposite the pinch here writing, opens and closes easily. The lid remains attached. I also left the inside seal half open to make it easy to scrape to level off my scooper. I would rather have this container with no scooper vs. a plastic container with a scooper if it saves me money by still providing a quality product. This collagen is $15 cheaper than my favorite brand. The description of the ingredients and sources appear the same. The only difference I notice is my favorite brand makes my coffee creamier. Not worth paying $15 more for. Also, this brand dissolves quicker without lumping. As far as being effective compared to my favorite brand, I haven't noticed anything different so far. I hope this product will work out to have the same effectiveness. Being on a fixed income, every dollar saved counts. Saving money buying this product is a win if it has the same results.

This took me a bit to realize that I needed to wait for the collagen to mix in with the drink. I was trying it in both hot and cold water, and couldn't figure out why it wasn't mixing in. It turns out that I just needed to wait a few minutes for it to thoroughly dissolve. I got the flavorless type, and have mixed it in various drinks, not noticing much of a distinct flavor at all. The package got to my house quickly, and I will be ordering again when I'm through with this container. I definitely recommend this brand and product!
