I have been using Vital Proteins collagen peptides for about 6 months now. I love adding a scoop to my morning protein smoothie. I get a mostly flavorless protein boost. I can also add it to any other food or beverage that needs a little extra protein. It doesn’t dissolve super easy in cold clear liquids and has a taste and texture similar to gelatin. I don’t know if it’s made my skin any better, but my hair and nails are definitely growing faster and stronger than before I started being more mindful about my protein intake.

I've been using this since about May and the pain and discomfort in my arthritic knee is close to a zero. My skin feels softer and I feel like it helps keep my weight down. I put it in my coffee every morning or I make a high protein shake. It's great and I highly recommend it!

I'm still experimenting with this product. I've used it for about a week now and can see sure signs of my acne clearing up and my hair seeming a little longer than it normally would be without the product. The unflavored collagen peptides still have a flavor if used with the directed amount which is two scoops. That's the downside. I can only use one scoop and even then, I can still taste it faintly. I figured out a good trick- I mix mine with La Croix sparkling water. The carbonation masks the flavor. Just a little bit of advice for anyone who feels the same as me!

Every time I took this product, I would end up with a massive headache. I tried it with cold and hot drinks and it wouldn’t completely dissolve; had a lot of chunks. Don’t take this review as the “norm” though. This is just my experience. Disappointed I couldn’t finish the product. Oh, well!

So I had only taken this for about 2 1/2 weeks when I started noticing a big difference in my energy, my mood, my arthritis wasn’t flaring up quite as often and I could tell a difference when I ran out of collagen a week later and had to wait a week to get it. That will not happen again!! Thank you Vital Proteins!!

Stars off only for packaging: This dissolves pretty easily for me in coffee, need to stir quickly or it clumps, but clumps easy to break up. No taste. I caved buying this but now really like it. But WHY does it "need" to be in a giant, molded plastic tub? I'm pretty sure given the choice most people would rather have a scoop in a bag (much larger plastic savings AND easier measuring) vs. no scoop in a ridiculous heavy plastic tub that is barely half full (annoying and way more wasteful). You could just put it in a jar at home if you want a "tub"...It makes me so uncomfortable that I'll probably quit buying it, although I realize most other brands do the same thing. Really wasteful and unnecessary. Oh and, just in case: No I don't want the scoop back if it's the only greenwashing-minor plastic reduction your company will do...

The peptides mix well with any beverage. I use it in my coffee.. no difference whatsoever. My husband uses it in an aloe comfort drink cold and a little thicker consistency.. it does clump but no taste or issue just stir a little more. No noticeable health benefits yet 2 weeks so far.

I like the flavorless collagen peptides because I'm not a big fan of flavored drinks and I can easily mix it into my water when I workout without a weird taste. However, I do sometimes have residue on the bottom of my water bottle and it gets a bit foamy. I think a blender bottle is probably the way to go.

I have been using the powder for several months now and besides the ease of use (ie no clumping at all) I find my knees to be really improved and I have bone on bone so that's saying alot. I'm 67 and hoping to continue using it indefinitely. I also very much appreciate that it is grass-fed.

New year's resolutions suck but I was determined to be more healthy this year and on a whim purchased this item along with a bevy of others. This one stayed after many were discarded. I can feel the results while working out and I can completely see them in my skin.
