This one was just okay. I'm switching back to the Beef Gelatin. I saw noticeable improvement in my skin texture from the beef gelatin. I could definitely see uses for soups and baking with the Collagen Peptides, to sneak in some extra collagen. But for me, the peptides does not compare to the gelatin, as far as visible, noticeable difference in the texture of my skin.

Vital Proteins is an awesome company, with awesome products, and awesome customer service. SO MUCH AWESOME. First off, these collagen peptides are great. They are truly unflavored. I add them into my smoothies and there is no weird taste or weird aftertaste. I did try mixing it with cold water, but it didn't dissolve as well as it does in a smoothie. However, I read many reviews that it dissolves better with hot water-hence why many people mix it in their coffee. I suffer from acne and I truly feel that this helps heal my acne marks faster. I've never had issues with my hair or its growth, but I did see that after taking this product for not even a week (I'm not kidding), my hair became so thick-but not in a bad way! I highly recommend checking this product out! Vital Proteins also has the best customer service. I contacted them on Facebook because I received my monthly subscription but when I opened it, the container was covered in residue. Within hours, they responded. I only contacted them because the packaging was different and wanted to let them know how I received it. I wasn't looking for a refund, I just wanted to make sure that their packaging didn't change. Liz was great and informed me that the warehouse where my order came from ran out of their usual boxes and told me she was sending me a replacement for the messy container. Within 2 days of contacting them, my replacement collagen peptides came to my door. LOVE this company and their products. Thanks Vital Proteins!!

I can't fairly comment on the efficacy of this product. I bought a single serving size to try it out. I poured the contents into a Bolthouse Farms Chocolate protein drink, and the result is a glob-filled mess. There is no flavor to this stuff, so the chunks taste like the beverage, but as vigorously as I shook the bottle, it should have mixed better. At least, that's what I think. Perhaps I should have tried putting it in my coffee, or using a blender - but that seems like a lot of fuss. A powder should just mix in with a liquid, I'd say.

I have been taking 20 g in my morning coffee for almost 3 months now and seeing results in my hair roots coming in darker and LOTS thicker, losing less hair in shower, nails are thicker and smooth shiney, my knees DO NOT bother me at all anymore. Most important it makes me feel such better overall, with more energy!!! Love my unflavored collagen from Vital Proteins.

So happy to have found this great product. I'm gluten, dairy, grain, bean and legume-free, so that rules out all the protein powders on the market. Other collagen powders are thick and gummy. This one has a smooth texture and dissolves easily. My nails have improved after just one container. I'll be back for more!

I've been using the collagen peptides for over a year and love them. I put a scoop in my coffee in the mornings and helps give me energy and keep me feeling full. I'm a runner and was having a lot of knee pain and since using the collagen regularly the pain has gone away. There is s slight smell that I noticed when I first stared using the product but I got used to it over time and now can't imagine my coffee without it!

I'm doing a protocol to detox from heavy metals and remineralize so there are other things in play, but my skin is definitely improving since starting collagen. Husband finally tried it a couple of weeks after I started and says he got relief in his knees and ankles the first day. So now I'm doubling my subscription. I haven't tried in cold water, but it didn't dissolve well for my husband that way. We have both been enjoying it in coffee. Very subtle malt flavor vs the strong protein aftertaste of many other protein products I've tried. Makes the coffee slightly richer and that hint of malt but otherwise doesn't interfere with the coffee we love. It does have some potential to clump, but I find it mixes almost effortlessly if you dump the scoops on top of hot coffee and just allow it to sit. It's fun to watch it avalanche into the coffee and it dissolves perfectly that way, whereas mixing it in causes the powder to encapsulate itself and it's harder to get those to break up and dissolve completely. Trying to decide what to try next, but this original has become a permanent staple in our morning routine.

I love this! I struggle with being consistent, and therefore seldom follow through. But Vital Proteins is absolutely tasteless making it SO EASY to commit to. Two scoops in my coffee every morning! My nails are stronger, and therefore I know my hair should do well with it too! Im finishing one month and I plan to go ahead and subscribe! It's that easy, and I love that! Give it a try you won't believe it!

My first drink with 1 Tbls was very hard to swallow. I would never tolerate 3 Tbls in one drink. Definitely won't ruin my coffee with it. Does the hyaluronic acid add a displeasing flavor, or is it still unappealing without it. Not sure I can continue. I was so hoping I would like it.
