I initially bought this from a third party seller. It had a strong not-too-pleasant taste and was difficult to mix in to anything but super hot liquids. I decided to go through Vital Proteins directly since this product is supposed to be unflavored and dissolvable. I have the same issues. The only way to not taste is it to put it in smoothies— however it remains chunky and most of is sticks to the side of the blender cup. I do feel like it’s beneficial to my health overall, but I’m getting annoyed with sticky white residue everywhere

I have only used these for a month, but they are great! I either put them in my coffee or my morning smoothie,. They are tasteless and dissolve quickly! I have noticed a HUGE difference in the strength of my nails and hope to see my skin look brighter in a few months! Can't go wrong and would recommend to anyone :)

I struggled to find a good unflavored protein for my daughter and myself. This has passed the test with flying colors! I mix it in her water daily with a tiny bit of water flavoring (bc she likes it not bc the protein taste bad). And I have no problems getting her to drink it. She has trouble getting protein due to picky diet. So this has truly saved her! Her endocrinologist told us she needed more protein and I started her on this. Six months later she asked my secret when I told her not much had changed with my daughters diet. I told her about the protein and she was excited!

I've generally been skeptical about the benefits of most supplements and this one was no different. I started following a ketogenic diet 3 months ago and found a recipe for Rocket Fuel Latte by Leanne Vogel, which included collagen peptides. It piqued my interest and decided to give it a shot. I ordered the 10 oz container first and quickly used that up as I made my on RFL blocks and added it in my daily coffee beverages. Now, I've upgraded to the 20 oz container! In the time that I've been using it, my nails have never been stronger! They haven't always been this way and I attribute that to the collagen. They are crazy hard and strong! One of the other big change that I've seen is that my thin, short Asian eyelashes have gotten LONGER since taking collagen. I've been tempted to purchase those serums that promise to make your lashes grow long and lush but those are so expensive! My lashes extend a bit longer after putting on mascara. These two observations and benefits are enough to keep me using them. I'll continue to use the collagen peptides and see if there are any other benefits long-term like joint health, post-workout recovery, etc. I'm a former skeptic who is now a collagen convert.

This is the first supplement I've tried that has virtually no taste. I'm super picky about taste and texture, but I can add this to my coffee, tea, and smoothies and hardly notice a change in the beverage. Its too early to comment on any changes in my skin, hair, etc., but I've already gotten past the first hurdle of actually being able to drink it and like it, so I'm happy!

I decided to give VP a try after using a competitor brand. After wk 3 I noticed a significant decline in my hair, skin, & nails. My hair started falling out in clumps, my nails became brittle, & my skin felt dry. I stuck with it thinking it was just my body adjusting. After 6 weeks I can say it was not my body adjusting. My hair just falls out in large wads while I’m showering. There’s shedding of my hair everywhere. I took the recommended daily amount until the 20oz tub was gone & I regret it so much! Also to add this stuff does not mix well at all!

1. It definitely has a taste to it I would describe it as bitter. I only noticed this when I was splitting my coffee in two portions and one portion had collagen powder and the other didn’t otherwise I wouldn’t have noticed the taste. 2. Does NOT Dissolve well in chilled or iced water it gets very clumpy. I feel like for cold drinks you need a shaker bottle or blender. Otherwise it gets clumpy then sits at bottom of drink 3. dissolves well in hot water. Overall I would purchase the brand again since 90% of time I mix it in my coffee I’ll most likely try the creamer next time. 4. Significant Benefits: I’ve always take collagen so I can’t say I’ve noticed a significant change but for me it’s okay! I’ve always had great skin always taken biotin for my hair although I have noticed my nails been growing faster and stronger but I also started taking hyaluronic acid capsules and coconut oil every morning in my daily diet when I started I causing Vital Proteins in my diet . Overall I love collagen!

Ive used this religiously for over 3 yrs. The formula has changed, and price has skyrocketed. While I love the benefits ive gotten I am looking for an alternate product They slipped these changes in under our nose. Ill be spending my money somewhere else. Bad move Vital Proteins!

Product is good. Seems to help my hair, nails, and joints. Not too much taste, so easily mixes into coffee or smoothies. The packaging is TERRIBLE. Recently they went to a paper tub, which is environmentally helpful. But short of attacking it with a knife, you can't get it open. Seriously, I had to take a knife, cut around the perimeter of the container, and then use needle nose pliers to pry it off the rest of the way. Luckily I kept the old container and was able to transfer the product, but please...do something. This is miserable.

For the past 5 years, I haven’t had any day without having my collagen coffee. I take them along with me wherever I go. Also carry small sachets if I’m on a trip. This is the FIRST THING I put in my system after a huge glass of water. I add this to my black coffee, along with MCT oil and make it bullet proof. Have recommended this to all my students who workout with me, as this has been a GAME CHANGER in my life. Should I say more? :)
