[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I've been taking this for 3 months as a recommendation from my nutritionist, my skin is so soft and very clean looking! I get compliments all the time on how my skin looks. I feel more vitalized as well.

This product lives up to the "unflavored" promise, which is nice. The only issue I have with it is that when using it in cold water (or with ANY ice) it clumps up no matter how much I mix it. I live in the Caribbean and don't drink coffee so I'm not typically drinking hot drinks and got it with the intention of putting it in my iced tea or ice water (after a workout, alongside the recovery product I also purchased) and the only issue with that is the clumping. I have found a reasonable method for getting it mostly mixed in with only a few small clumps, but I wish that I had seen it more explicitly mentioned in reviews OR that it was something mentioned on the packaging itself that it really works best when mixed with hot/warm beverages vs. cold.

You can see the distinct differences clearly by carefully reading the two labels side by side. “Original” and “Advanced” 1. Color has changed. This formula is pure white unlike the original that has brown speckles throughout. 2. The “Original” formula that I ordered has the Amino Acid Profile listed on the label. This “Advanced” formula does not. Why is this now missing on the “Advanced” label? 3. The “Original” formulation is Kosher, this “Advanced” formula is not! 4. The “Original” formulation is Whole Thirty approved. This “Advanced” formula is not. 5. The “Original” formula label reads “Dairy FREE” and “Gluten FREE”. The Advanced formula label reads “Made without Dairy” and “Made without Gluten”indicating possible cross contamination with the “new” manufacturing process?? This new “Advanced” formula is not what I ordered and not what I need. If I cannot continue to get the “Original” formula, I will be canceling my subscription and I definitely want a refund for the “Advanced” formula version I just received today.

I have been using this product for several years, and the last few containers I have opened have had a bad smell, and I can taste it in my coffee. I had never had this issue before. I had two cups of coffee this morning without collagen, then added the Vital Proteins to my last cup, and it smells and tastes bad, and I've noticed this for the last two containers I've used. After my experience this morning, I went to the website to look at reviews and saw that so many other people have posted similar comments. I think Vital Proteins needs to be upfront with customers about what is different about their products and what is causing the bad taste and smell. I am very disappointed and will look for another brand.

I purchased this item based on the the benefits provided, all of which I needed. I stir in a scoop every morning in my coffee, it's tasteless so there's no aftertaste. I can't say I saw immediate results simply because this is my first month of use. This I will remain on until I experience change. My hair is however showing sparse fuzz in areas of scarceness.

I ordered two containers of the Vital Proteins Original Collagen Peptides after a friend recommend I try it. I've been working on my general wellness as well as seeking to improve my skin, as I've struggled with adult acne my whole adult life. I genuinely have seen small improvements in my skin and I overall feel better internally. I have tried the powder in smoothies, coffees and teas so far. I am able to taste it a little in some weak teas. Sometimes I can smell it initially when drinking but overall it's a mild smell and taste. Overall, wonderful product so far. I'm looking forward to more results after taking longer!

I have been using vital protein collagen peptides every morning in my coffee for about two months now. I couldn’t be happier with the results. My skin looks and feels better, I can definitely see and feel the difference. The individual packets were very convenient but I worry about excess package waste so I opted for the large container. Just pour and mix, the powder dissolves instantly so you can’t tell anything was added. I was afraid there might be some left over powder pieces at the bottom of the cup , but nothing. It really blends in completely with no taste.

My Dr recommended I start taking collagen to help my hip pain from osteoarthritis as I am not ready for a hip replacement. I started taking Vital Protein since she recommended this brand and I have noticed improvement in my range of motion and decrease in the pain!

Visiting my granddaughter in Seattle and she is using this product. Now my granddaughter is an Holistic teacher, in talking I told her about my hair falling out and I have always had problems growing nails. Grandma try this , so I had it in my coffee with Hemp milk, and it had no taste so we went to the health store to get me a jar. Came home and started using it in my coffee every morning, before I was finished with my 1st container I could see the difference in. Both my hair and nails. I have sent you at least 5 new customers and they all love it too. I purchased for my Hair and Nails, but see the difference in my skin also. I really do love this product.
