I subscribed to this product a few months ago and I love! I have noticed a big difference in my hair and skin. However the most unexpected benefit is how quickly I recover from a workout. I am definitely less sore after a hard workout than I was before I started taking Vital Proteins.

I struggled to find a good unflavored protein for my daughter and myself. This has passed the test with flying colors! I mix it in her water daily with a tiny bit of water flavoring (bc she likes it not bc the protein taste bad). And I have no problems getting her to drink it. She has trouble getting protein due to picky diet. So this has truly saved her! Her endocrinologist told us she needed more protein and I started her on this. Six months later she asked my secret when I told her not much had changed with my daughters diet. I told her about the protein and she was excited!

This powder definitely does have a gross aftertaste if you only mix it in water or something like tea. When I mix it in my coffee it’s fine and has no taste. My hair and skin are looking good but I’m also taking vitamins and have a good diet so not positive if it’s the collagen working or something else. This company sends too many emails.

Like the product but newest container brags about no longer including a PLASTIC scoop. When you open the HUGE PLASTIC CONTAINER it is half full. Maybe keep the tiny plastic scoop and reduce a ton of plastic by making the container HALF the size.... we're not stupid. Respect your customer please.

Until my bun and hair has been really full. My nails grow like crazy. I could go 3-4 weeks without getting my nails done now in 2.5 weeks they have extensive growth . My coworker noticed and borrowing me a scoop everytime she sees me (she was the Guinea pig)& we saw a difference in her nails too.I use this 3-4 / week as it makes you full and gasy.

I've been using this product (formerly 5 stars) for at least 3 years and wonder whose BAD IDEA it was to switch packaging. This is the worst ever. I finally used pliers to grasp the edge since my 74 year-old fingers do not have the grip strength required to open this container. I hope you are getting great personal satisfaction for "saving the planet with your ridiculous sustainable packaging" because that has obviously become more important than your customers' satisfaction! You can pat each other on the back for this stupid idea. Nonsense. I'll find another product where the CUSTOMER is #1.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 61 yrs old. I have taking Vital Proteins daily for 2 weeks. I really haven't seen much change. I did notice i am not as run down. I am a very active 61 yr old with knee and leg problems. I have also increased my daily vitamins and changed my diet. There is a taste to it but no overwhelming. I drink it with my hot tea in the evening after work. So I am going to keep taking it and see if it helps. I will be back with any update in 30 days.

I am still hoping this product lives up to its claims. I switched from a different collagen powder to this as it is unflavored. Well, almost unflavored. Maybe it's just me but I still taste it slightly. Vital Proteins doesn't seem to work as quickly as the other brand; my nails aren't growing as quickly, and my skin isn't looking as good. I will give it another month, or two, before making a final decision on staying with it or not.

I have only been using this product for about three weeks, so far so good. My review is solely based on the flavor. I was nervous that I wasn't going to like the flavor, but to my surprise it's perfect. It doesn't change the flavor of my smoothie at all. My only disappointment was that my tub was a little more than half full when I received it, very annoying.

I started taking this product to help with my knees which had started to hurt more often then not. Not only has it helped my knees which I've always had issues with, but I've also noticed a lot of new growth in my hair as well. I will continue to use this product. I will say I find it dissolves better in warm or hot liquid so thats how I take it. Either in some coffee or in warm water with a little crystal light.
