I was due for a new mattress for a longer time than I would like to admit, so this is definitely an upgrade! Overall, I am happy with it. It is more on the firm side though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received this Beauty rest 900 extra firm mattress, and so far I am pleased with it. I'm really impressed with how sturdy and well made the mattress is. It is a firm mattress, but it also offers some flexibility. My husband is a back sleeper with some lower lumbar issues, and he finds the mattress to be very comfortable as it helps to keep his body more aligned. I am a side sleeper, and I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable I also find this mattress. It is not nearly as stiff as I anticipated. Aside from the wonderful support; my favorite features are the cooling technology and the motion isolation. I am always hot during the night, and the cooling technology really helps keep me much more comfortable and well rested. I actually found that I am not tossing and turning as much as I used to. The motion isolation ensures that neither of us is bothered by the other's movements, and allows for a better nights sleep. Overall, I think this a great mattress for anyone looking for extra support with added comfort.

Very sturdy mattress, can see it quality materials and I can really see this lasting for many years to come. Not sure why I waited so long to upgrade! This is like a dream by comparison in regards to comfort and support

Medium firmness is great for my comfort level, and I use a mattress topper I found at a local store. Overall though, its comfortable, not too warm, and I get a great night's sleep with it. Because of this, I don't see anything wrong with this mattress as I'm enjoying it so far.

The mattress feels a bit firmer than what I would consider medium, but it’s super supportive and has enough give that you can sleep on your side. I’m both a back sleeper and side sleeper and I find it to be perfectly comfortable! I would buy this again and have already recom it to a friend. Great value and great sleep!

The mattress is made from quality materials. The mattress is best because it provides hour of sleep snd a good night rest. This mattress has also gotten rid of my constant back pains. This mattress is highly recommended to any one looking for a product that will provide a good night rest.

This is definitely not an extra firm matttress as advertised. During the first months we had it, it was fine, but now, not even a year since we bought it, the mattress is extremely soft, we feel like we sink in and it is causing us severe backpain and my husband and I wake up in the middle of the night to go sleep on our recliners. Also, there is no support on the sides, it seems we are going to fall from the bed. We contacted the company, but according to them the “depression” we have doesnt qualify for a replacement. This is our first and last experience with Beautyrest- we are very upset with the poor quality and replacement standards.
