The flavor is rich and complex. We would buy this maple syrup over all others. It doesn't take much to top your waffle or pancake. Use it with fresh or frozen fruit for an amazing compote.

I'm absolutely obsessed with this syrup! I put it in my morning coffee , my pecan pancakes or french toast. Dessert over ice cream. Smooth rich flavor. And I'm not even a bourbon drinker!!!!

This syrup is absolutely delish! I bought it as gifts for my family. I have created monsters! I have had to replenish their supplies several times. They LOVE it!

Delicious maple syrup. We buy it every year but it wasn't in our local store this year so we ordered it online from Sam's. Hope they keep carrying it every Christmas season.

I think I got spoiled by the real thing made in Nashville, Indiana... This crown bottle was very weak tasting. Neither strong bourbon barrel notes nor a deep maple flavor. It's light maple syrup aged in spent barrels that have already lost most of their flavor. I wanted to get bottles as gifts for several family members, but I'm glad my wife and I tried it first because it's very underwhelming if you've had real small batch bourbon barrel-aged maple syrup. If you've never had bourbon barrel syrup before, you will probably enjoy this light one but just know that it's nothing like the real thing and explore some other brands for a bolder experience.

Excellent Maple Syrup

I purchased the syrup thinking we were really getting something special. It is not. It is actually quite thin & nothing like it looks or sounds. Yes the heavy glass bottle is beautiful & yes the name sounds delicious & intriguing. It is absolutely no better that Sams brand organic maple syrup that we've purchased for years, it is actually inferior. I will never buy this again especially at this ridiculously inflated price.
