Plans are to paddle about 1/2 hour to my fishing hole, catch the big ones and paddle a half hour back. Seems to be the perfect rig. Yes, I will have a line in the water with a crawler to & from my hot spot.

Its features are utilitarian and very well placed and functional. (I have another identical LIFETIME kayak that I ended up adding all of the same fishing pole features to...) Also, I feel it's relevant to mention, both times I have called Lifetime for parts (crushed stern carry handle & scupper plugs) they have immediately sent me the products free of charge!

My wife kayak tamarack straps for seat kept slipping loose and eventually lost one of the buckles. Called to get a few replacement buckels and ended up with a whole new replacement seat for the wife thanks to Mr Triton. I inquired about availability of support seats for my grandkids Recruit kayaks and surprisingly again Mr Triton arranged to have two sent to me for both recruit kayaks.

When I got it, the shipper had lost the certificate and rod holder. When I called Lifetime, Skyler in cust service thanked me and made sure I got both items.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this kayak and love it! Unfortunately the seat pad came off in transit (I snagged it fishing and it came loose. I needed to reorder a new one. Jonathan from the parts department was very helpful and friendly.

I purchased one a year and a half ago and another two months ago so wife and I would have our own. I find it is more stable than other kayaks I have used. The only issue with them is that the pins that hold down the seat pan work through the rubber and foam seat rather quickly. I am replacing the older one's seat with strap down seats that have thicker seat pans and back support.
