for the money its an excellent kayak. I put my grand kids and my wife on it and they were fine with the stability and the comfort. you won't win any races but you will have fun. Pretty light and easy to carry. paddle is iffy but usable. Probably an upgrade in the future. had a minor issue with the seat 1 call resolution. could not get through warranty page on website so I called them and it was easy.

The stability of this kayak is perfect for fishing, even in rough weather. I even take a portable fish finder with me knowing that I won't roll over. I can get anywhere on a lake to find where the fish are holding. Even at an age nearing retirement, I can load and unload this boat from the top of my SUV. No trailer needed! I love this boat.

It was gone by the time I got off the freeway and returned to get it. bought # 2 and had a problem but warranty was applied to it and now I am waiting to get # 3 delivered to my house so I can get out and paddle the 4-5 days a week that I Paddle ( 12 months a year- I live in So California and water is great)

I discovered the 2020 model of the Lifetime Tamarack came with a bucket for the front hatch which would be a great addition to my 2019 model. I contacted the lifetime customer service site and the rep was extremely helpful in getting one sent to me...at no cost.

Bought this Kayak for my Son. He will enjoy it for fishing, on our local lakes. But after opening it up; I found that the adjustable rod holder was missing. I emailed Lifetime about the missing rod holder. That day they had a rod holder in the mail. Great customer service

During last voyage she encountered “operator error” and somehow lost the seat fasteners. I called Lifetime and they were very helpful… sent us a new strap with the fasteners. Before I bought the kayaks I checked reviews and everyone commented how great the service was… in getting replacement parts. They were right! And we love our kayaks!
