Purchased mine on sale for a lifetime store. Took it out for the first time last week and since it was my first time on a kayak it was really weird. After a little bit I was really comfortable moving and fishing in it. Haven't used the dry compartment but its huge. The holes up where the legs go are kind of irritating because water comes in them and gets on your pant legs but when its hot who cares. It was the best fishing trip by far, caught allot of Crappie on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this Kayak for about 4 years and I love it. I have used it in almost every River, Pond, and Lake in Utah from Logan to Lake Powell. The only thing I wished it had would be the option to have the two rod holders on the front. I also wish the storage bins would be more user friendly or easier to access so that you could fit a small tackle box etc. Ever better idea, make the storage bins large enough to store the paddles.

High quality and a great color (tired of seeing red blue and orange kayaks everywhere). Lots of nice features including plenty of storage (for a sit-on kayak) including two waterproof covered lockers and two bunge corded platforms all with quality marine fittings. Unique seating configuration allows the nicely padded and solidly hinged back to fold down for transportation. There is no seat bottom cushion, so I bought a closed cell seat pad and now it's super comfy even on all day paddles. Since this model is designed for fishing (and long periods of sitting still) Lifetime could have figured out a way to integrate a sat pad? But it's and easy fix. This kayak is perfect for the Florida Everglades and the lazy scenic rivers here but I've also taken it in the ocean (plenty of room for diving gear) and it is very stable in the surf. Really happy with this well designed kayak

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have enjoyed this kayak! Not too heavy that an adult and an 11 year old can't take down to the lake. Nice to have a holder to put a water bottle. Also, great to have a spot to put the paddle when not in use. The kayak didn't tip when one person was in the seat and another person climbed up and onto the back. Love the option of being able to get on and off in the water easily. The kayak is easy to paddle and steer. Only advice that I have is to tighten the shock cords before use. Some came undone, but was easily fixed by just tightening. Nice to have the shock cords or the storage compartment for us to store extra clothing when needing to take off layers. This has been a great kayak.

bought this last spring(2012) first one, use for fishing ,ponds, and rivers. you won"t find a better kayak for the money. stable, easy too handle, runs good in the water. bought a 3 inch high seat, great for fishing, and seeing fish in shallow water. could not be any happier with this purchase.

Purchased this Yak a little under a year ago. Used it on lakes and the river. Great kayak. Very stable. I myself am 6'3" 200 lbs and it handled great. Not a fan of the seat for a day on the river as it folded in half but overall it is a great value and would reccomend this to any beginner or day user. 

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have bought two of these kayak in the last 3 years. I like the stability even if it gets a little rough. I've used it for several different things. I paddle it out with my crab pots to catch dungeonous crab with great success. Also I have used it as a dive platform for hauling my speargun and floats out to hunt for large cabrilla and snapper in Baja. I enjoy the rod holders and the bungee system that keeps my gear secure. I highly recommend this kayak.

I recently purchased two of these kayaks. They track well and are very stable in a sitting position. I fish saltwater and have taken this yak out in 3 foot swells with no issue. I would NOT recommend standing in the kayak as it is not quite stable enough for that. Overall, the features provided Out of the Box are good for the price. There's only 2 real downfalls, 1st. The tank well runs the entire hull of the kayak so, if storing anything small, it can easily slide around in the storage well out of arms reach. 2nd, the scupper holes behind the seat allow you to get a bit of a wet behind and then water can (only slightly) leak into the hull of the kayak via the rivets holding the seat bottom down. 3rd, the back of the seat is not very strong. If you lean back too far the seat will double over the support straps which can make getting comfortable during long trips a bit of a hassle. This issue is easily resolved by using a bait well, or milk crate behind the seat. Overall, I would recommend this kayak to anyone who wants to try out kayak fishing, or even to an experienced angler.

We have owned this kayak for a few months. This is our FIRST ever kayak. We have owned boats for years and love the outdoors. Once we decided to get a set we had no idea just how much we would use them. They are durable, very stable, very comfortable (we did add upgraded DIY seats) we are in the kayaks an average of 6-8 hours at a time so we changed the seats. Pros- stable (I added a rope to the stabilizer in the middle front and use it to assist in standing up to fish. I can reach behind me to get anything I need from the back without it flipping or tilting over. Fishing pole holders are very easy to get to and get poles in and out of. Cons- storage is open in the hull and it roles all over. We added containers to put things on so they don't go all over inside. cup holders need to be a little deeper, cups will fall out when getting in and out of the kayak but not a big problem. We have used them in lakes, rivers and rapids. Rocky bottoms or smooth sailing isn't a problem for these. We use DIY things to make our Kayak fit our needs depending on where we are at. Would love for them to have more extras for us to purchase. Overall you will NOT regret getting this kayak.
