It's very gentle and I don't feel like I'm tearing up the area when using it. You know how that feels with course hair, right? I also really like the feel of this in my hand, as it has a good weight to it. It really does curves better than my old razor does also. I've even shaved my course hair on my legs also and it does really well there also.

Well let me tell you that the Gillette Venus for Pubic Hair and Skin, Women's Razor is absolutely fantastic. The design is smooth and sleek to the touch. It flows in the direction of your hand. When I shave near the pubic area or under my armpits, I take extra caution. With this razor it's like it is doing double duty to protect me. No cuts, nicks or scrapes. There is a silicone part of the handle that helps a lot with grip. The blade provides a close shave without friction. It is very efficient when it comes to avoiding razor burn in a very sensitive area. I love that it comes with 1 refill blade seeing as how the coarse hairs of the area in question can easily wear out the blades.
