I was able to get a close smooth shave using this product. The razor still did cause me to have some irritation though.

The packaging is attractive and it comes with a nice sleek handle and an extra razor to switch out. The shave itself was really close and seemed to be great for maneuvering the pubic area. I would definitely use and purchase this again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gillette Venus Women's Razor is fantastic! I don't give out 5 stars often or easily but this razor is the bee's knees! It comes with the razor base and two extra heads in the kit. The head is super sturdy and pivots well over any hair and skin type. This razor shaves hair (even in your private areas) without any tugging, pulling, or cutting of your skin. The razor rinses away clean as well, so the hair isn't something you have to try to pull out of the head. The base is very easy to grip and super sturdy. The head didn't fall or break off when I dropped it (which happens in a shower when you are shaped up). I am very impressed with this razor. My only wish is that I could get the base customized, like with cartoon characters or butterflies on it, but other than that it is everything that I dreamed a razor should be!

It can sometimes be a difficult area to shave due to the area being such a sensitive area. Thank goodness for the Gillette Venus line of razor and blades made specifically just for this. The blades are sharp, yet they are still gentle on your skin. It gets the job done without cutting your skin all up and leaving a lot of irritation behind. I highly recommend this line of razors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette Venus Public Hair Razor is more gentle on the skin than using a regular razor. Its shaped to fit the areas you are using it on. Its nice having a razor that doesn't feel like its taking your skin off. Its good also for trimming along bathing suit area even if that would be all you used it for.

Really like the way it glides over my skin and I no longer get those nasty razor burns on my legs and bikini area. Highly recommend!

It didn't irritate my skin so much like other razors usually do. Paired with a good shaving cream and after shave balm, my skin had been amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shaving 'down there' can be so difficult, but this razor makes at least one thing about it a lot easier. It has the best grip I've ever felt on a razor! The very end of the handle is very smooth and enticing...a bit of foreshadowing to how smooth and enticing your nether regions are about to be, perhaps? But higher up, right where your fingers would naturally grasp it, the handle has a textured rubber sleeve. It is comfortable to use and doesn't get soapy or slippery. I haven't dropped or lost control of this razor in the shower once, and that is not something I can say about other similar products. As far as the shave itself, I have to say, I think it's pretty good. Not particularly better than other shavers, necessarily, but good. The head of it tilts against your body, so it handles all your hills and curves easily, gliding wherever you take it, leaving smooth, hairless skin in its wake...usually, anyway. I find that sometimes I might need to go over certain areas again to get every hair, but that's the case with pretty much every razor. I have noticed less irritation and fewer ingrown hairs with this razor, though, and that's a big deal, and worth recommending.

This razor is designed to help protect your delicate skin from irritation such as those pesky razor bumps. The irritation defense bar let's hair be removed while barely touching your skin. It even comes with a trimmer on the back to help get in hard to reach or tricky places. This razor has been perfect for shaving my bikini area. It leaves my skin super smooth and I haven't had any razor bumps or ingrown hairs since using it. I love that since using this razor I havent had to worry about any discomfort at all. I've been searching for a better razor for my bikini area and I just found it .
